Atlantic Point Apartments

Atlantic Point, though not perfect, is hard to beat for what it offers in apartment living. The grounds are beautiful & park like with ever changing flowers and ponds that are filled with wildlife. The floor plans are open and spacious and well thought out. The Clubhouse is handsome and well maintained as are the four pools and other perks. Enjoy a promenade with your beloved pet and greet your neighbors who are usually very friendly. The maintenance guys run around in their "golf carts" and are happy to smile & wave to you. The fountains need to be better maintained as the lights are often out. The gate is just a nuisance, I say get rid of it, it just gives a false sense of security. I have lived here three happy years. more

I have lived here six years and cannot say , as the other review states, that I have ever been aware of a prostitution ring!...As far as the gates are concerned most of the time they are not working because the TENANTS break them...this also would not stop break in of cars ....since hey were only broken into and not stolen..anyone can WALK onto the property just as in any community...\r I have loved living here.....the community is beautifully maintained lots of green and flowers and working ponds...the layout of the apartments are as if it were your own house....not attached in rows like many apt communties..the clubhouse is beautiful....the gym well maintained....the pools are also clean and surrounded by nature...the staff has always been very helpful and expedient whenever I needed a repair.\r The prices for the apts are very fair and you can also have pets..they have attached garages.....and are close to major roadways and shopping.....\r You would be hard pressed to find a community more

I'd have to say that a really love the layout of my place and the amenities are quite nice. My only real problem with Atlantic Point is there appears to be a large prostitution ring that is run out of there and while it's not as though it looks like a red light district, I still don't enjoy having this in my community. Management doesn't really seem interested in resolving this problem and I might even say that they are turning a blind eye to the problem.Additionally, this is a gated community but the security gates (which should close at 8pm and require an entrance pass or a resident to clear you in) never seem to work. In fact, I have NEVER seen the gates working there. There have been recent break ins into people's cars and this would undoubtedly be alleviated if the gates were working.If Atlantic Point straightens out it's act, I would be hard pressed to find a reason to leave. If they don't, I will absolutely be leaving. more

Although I only stayed here a short time, I did love the apartments in general. Amenities were decent and included a complete gym and a computer room. Location was pretty good if you didn't have to work in Manhattan to be able to afford it. Staff was courteous and the layout of my apartment was great!! more
