Wonderful....until they have your belongings I had a horrible cross country move with ny movers . After arriving 6 hours late on pick up, my trip took several weeks longer than I was told it would (try living on the floor for 2 weeks, with few clothes to start a new job, on an aerobed). Their customer service refused to call me back, put my on endless hold for people who weren't even in the office, and told me constant lies about where the truck was, and why it was late. Once they have your belongings, they treat you like dirt. Don't think you'll have anyone on your side if anything goes wrong either - you're totally alone once they have your stuff, no credit card, no better business bureau, nothing. I would never recommend them. I am baffled by the positive reviews, the negative reviews on other sites are more in line with what I experienced. If I could go back in time, I'd pay double to use a different provider more

Terrible service. Let me explain: About 10 days ago I set a move date for 4/7. I filled out the online estimate form and Atlantic Movers Miami got back to me. They are quick to respond, hence the 1 star...anyway... I was quoted at $85/hr**. That was the lowest quote I'd seen up to that point so I decided to go with these movers of supposed excellent quality. [**EDIT: I had initially said $85 per guy per hour. The $85 per hour rate is what my review should have read. A good deal: too bad it wasn't honored...since it was in writing, after all.] Well, as it turns out, today I confirmed via email and was informed that the new rate is $105/hr because we're "moving at the end of the month." Who DOESN'T move at the end of the month? What a scam! I was hoping to negotiate. I told them I'd have to talk it over with my roommates and couldn't they honor the initial quote they had given me -- in writing, via email-- since, after all, misreading my move date on the estimate form was their oversight, not mine.
