I visited the store today around 1:30 with my two boys. Upon entering, I noticed there was a customer there with his daughter being helped by one of the employees. The other employee appeared to be pre-occupied, keeping his head down as to avoid eye contact.
I passed by the first employee, he said nothing. I walked over to the other employee, he said nothing - keeping his head down.
When my boys and I walked to the back of the store, I heard all three men having a casual fishing discussion. I headed back toward the counter area, hoping to possibly get some help, or at least some attention. To my surprise, I was completely ignored, even receive the turn of the shoulder. AMAZING!
Apparently, these tough economic times have not hit the Atlantic Gun and Tackle in Brecksville, Ohio. As a past customer, I will never again walk in that store. I will advise my friends of this incident and suggest the same. As a resident of Brecksville, I am embarrassed by the arrogance of the two employees, should a non-resident ever need assistance - they can forget about i - a real black-eye for the community.
I will, however, spend the two hours it takes to travel to and from Fin, Feather and Fur to spend my money. I used to only shop there when I would travel to Columbus... not anymore.
Atlantic Gun of Brecksville - your exceptionally poor customer service has lost you a customer. And remember, Going Out of Business always starts with one.
