I am nervous 11/28/2008

I have taken my dogs there and thought they were ok but very expensive. Now I am very nervous about going there again. It is very difficult finding a vet that is open 24 hours when your animal is in need. I just hope they will help my animals if I need them again. more

Vet or vet tech 7/30/2008

I rushed my dog to Atlantic Coast at 2 am. She had been getting sick every 10 minutes. They took her right away. I am glad that these types of emergency vets are available to us. The person who looked at her turned out not to be a vet. I knew this when his first action was to pick her up by her hind legs as if he were checking for hip dysplasia.... and did not identify himself as a vet, even after I called him Dr. I realized he was not the vet on staff. I used to work for a vet and can tell the vets from the vet techs. They of course did xrays, which was fine and diagnosed her with pancreatitis... turned out to be stomach upset. They wanted to keep her overnight which I declined. So 2 hrs and $500 later I left with my dog. I went to my regular vet that am and he concluded it was "something she ate".... next time let me know you are not the vet on staff... more

Delighted 6/2/2008

Delighted \r I have known Dr. Kramer and his staff for several years and can't tell you how delighted I have been with the professionalism of his staff and the miracles he has performed for my pets and others I have gotten to know while in the waiting room. They absolutely love pets here and do cart wheels to save them. I have had both cats and a dog and each was lovingly cared for and I would never ever take my pets who need critical care to ANYONE else. The office has nearly all the same equipment used on people in a hospital (I have a hospital background) and they can treat most anything a pet would come up with. Don't consider going anywhere else. more

Most Caring Vet 6/2/2008

Delighted Pros: Care, Concern, Followup, Expertise Cons: Specialists rather than primary care more

Worst Veterinarian Possible 5/1/2008

The minute Dr. Kramer collected our $3,000. dollars we were never able to get even a call back from him when our dog became sick from the treatment he prescribed. We called daily for 9 days in a row. Our own veterinarian, who referred us to this shameful excuse for a doctor, has admitted with much embarrassment, that he called him 3 times in that 9 day period and never received a call back either. We have become convinced that despite the itemized list of tests he claimed he conducted, we have a real question as to whether he actually performed all these tests or no. Pros: Fightening that he is still in business & hasn't been closed down Cons: Maybe he will get closed down! more
