Large selection of books. 11/3/2007

I discovered this bookstore about 20 years ago, and I fell in love with it. They have a large selection of books and there are always new titles to choose from. The staff and the owners are polite and helpful. It is a relaxed atmosphere and browsing is always great fun. You will not be disappointed. Pros: Wide selection of books with new titles every week. more

the best bookstore in the metro area 8/17/2007

Atlanta Vintage Books' wonderful atmosphere is its strongest point. I feel like I could spend the entire day in the store browsing for books. The huge selection of books ranges from antiques to modern day. Genres vary and I can always find a book I want to read. The oweners and employees are always helpful and willing to talk. This is not a good place for a book collector as the overage seems to be around 75% above actual value. This is a good place for people with a lot money who want to buy volumes they'll never read anyway but rather place on their shelves to look educated and literary. Send them here...and then laugh. more

Good find if you look 8/6/2005

Atlanta Vintage Books is a bookstore that carries hard to find books and a ton of used books. Mostly, you can find some good bargains on titles that are a little old, but you can also find rare books. They staff is helpful and will help you find what you are looking for. This is a nice store to browse and spend some time in. They are also listed on the abe books website, and you can go there to browse thier selections if you do not want to leave your home. Failrly easy to find more
