This place is the worst run outfit I have experienced or even heard of. Cappie Harper and pitiful office employs care nothing of letting you sit for hours for an appointment. They keep you coming back for analysis over the simplest of drugs. In my case Wellbutrin of which I've been using for over a year. They want you back no doubt for a little chat and a nice insurance charge. This place needs to be investigated. They will not work with your pharmacy and if I could have given them a lower grade I would have. The grand pupa of the place is Jeffery Klopper who they say only works a few days a month, and to see him you need to pack a lunch. You would really have to be nuts to use this place for your needs. I would suspect any Doctor that would send you there! more

I needed a psychiatric evaluation to have an elective surgical procedure. I chose Atlanta Psychiatry and Neurology because they were the closest location to my home. Honestly, the office staff really needs to work for the DMV. Hold times at any time of day are over 5 minutes. They never remember what line you are on and will ask several times why you are calling. It takes at least four of them to answer a simple question. I sat in the waiting room for over three and a half hours. While striking up conversations with others in the waiting room I found that they had booked at least two other people for the same time as me. Cappie Harper (The Psychologist I saw) was wonderful, but the staff would be considered below par for a third world government office. The letter that was supposed to be sent to my surgeon has, as of yet, not been sent (over a month later) and it seems that they have lost all of my billing records since everyone I talk to can?t seem to find my original bill. I called Atlanta Psychiatry and Neurology to schedule an appointment as a new patient. Someone answered the phone and I explained why I was calling. I was put on hold for 6 minutes. When the person came back, I asked if they usually make patients wait that long to assist them....especially considering most of the patients likely have some sort of psychiatric need. She asked ""again"", how could she help me. I decided to give this practice the benefit of doubt since I was looking for a psychiatrist who is closer to where I live. So, I explained ""again"" that I would like to make an appointment as a new patient. She said, ""okay, hold on please."" I sat listening to elevator music for another 3-4 minutes. I suffer from anxiety.....lol, I know!!! This was doing wonders for me. I decided then that I would take my business to another practice, but wanted to stay on hold until the person returned to express my concerns over this experience. It was ridiculous, unprofessional, and unacceptable. Who wants to see a doctor(psychiatrist) who thinks this unnerving experience is acceptable, or healthy, for his/her patients? more
