Let me begin by saying I own 3 houses that regularly need work and this is the first time I’ve felt pressed to write a negative review in order to forewarn anyone considering hiring Atl Pressure and Steam. I hired them over a year ago initially to repair a roof leak. After investigating, they told me I had a hole in my roof. They charged me about $375 and did 15 minutes of work, but they did provide a 1-year warranty. The roof continued to leak and I called again. It took several calls and several weeks for them to return. Even though the leak was in the exact same place, they said it was occurring because a branch fell right in that place and did additional damage. They said they would need to charge me additional money. At the time, I also needed squirrel holes patched, gutter guards installed, and my gutters cleaned. They quoted me $1200 for the guards and an additional $250 to clean the guards, repair the additional roof damage, and patch the squirrel holes (with a 3-year warranty). My roof continued to leak, several of the gutter guards blew off, and the remaining guards did not allow water to enter the gutter. Therefore, flooding began occurring all around my house, causing major water issues in my basement.\r
Again, I called many times, emailed many times, and waited for weeks before they would come out again. They discovered that the roof leak wasn’t even a leak, but actually a squirrel nest. Instead of refunding my money for roof repair because of their misdiagnosis, they tried to get me to pay additional money to repair a squirrel hole they said was “new” since they were there last. They tried to drill holes in the gutter guards to allow water to enter the gutters. \r
The gutter guards continue to be defective in that they will not allow any water to enter the gutters. They have rendered my gutter system completely useless. I have requested several times that they remove the guards and refund my money or replace the guards with a product that works and they have refused. \r
I have spent so much time and energy trying to resolve this issue to no avail. I wish I had known. Good luck with your project! \r
