Wonderful Experience 5/7/2009

Atherton Appliance and Kitchens and their Design Studio were able to offer attentive service, a large selection of good quality appliances, counter tops and cabinets - several brands at various price points, good pricing, and even a one on one program where their chef helps you learn how to use all your appliances and get the most out of them. Their Designer took our style and budget into consideration and helped put together the perfect cabinetry, countertops, and hardware for our kitchen. This is a GREAT one-stop shop and they also are showing more bbq's and other outdoor appliances too. If you are interested a fun informative cooking class they offer those too. I am recommending this place to all my friends. more

great sales support 12/16/2005

I would like to express my tremendous satisfaction in dealing with Atherton Appliance & Kitchens. I had been looking and interviewing designers and design firms for about 3 years. One Saturday I was in the area and entered Atherton after hearing a radio advertisement , and met the most wonderful designer and her staff. I ended up doing by entire home with Atherton.. using the best possible brands I never imagined I could afford.. They made it easy... more

i want to share a excellent shopping experience I had at Atherton Appliance & Kitchens,]. I was looking for appliances for my new home , and met a wonderful sales associate who guided me through the selections with great knowledge. not only did I get the best appliances possible i received the best service i ever had. I recommend Atherton to anyone ! They also gave me classes on to use the product thought their culinary department. more

Wonderful customer experience! 12/12/2005

I recently went into Atherton Appliance & Kitchens in Redwood City to shop for appliance. I was amazed to find out how large this store was. I worked with a knowledgeable salesperson who helped me pick out professional appliances that fit my cooking style. I was delighted to also find out that they offer daily cooking classes. Wow! I have already signed up for an upcoming class. In addition further in their showroom they have a design center for kitchen remodels. They had a good selection of cabinet styles and countertops. When I redo my kitchen I am going straight back to this company. I just had my appliances delivered and installed last week. They look and work great. Just in time for Christmas. Finally a one stop location that can take care of my entire kitchen. I strongly recommend anyone reading this post to visit this store. I found the on the web first and decided to see their store for myself. You will be amazed! more

Snotty sales associates 11/9/2005

I was warned first that I needed an appointment with a sales associate before shopping for appliances so I made one a week in advance. We still had to wait 30 minutes for our sales associate to be ready for us. We knew pretty much what we wanted but the sales associate kept pushing one particular brand (that happened to be the most expensive!). She seemed disappointed when we picked mid-level brands instead of the super expensive stuff and promised to get us a quote right away. 2 weeks later we were still waiting and wen I called her she flat out lied to us about her promise to get us the numbers. We ended up buying our appliances elsewhere, I wouldn't go back nor would I recommend Atherton Appliance. more
