We have been going to the Athens restaurant for over 25 years. The roast lamb shoulder platter is a heaping plate of tender roast lamb, soft perfectly cooked potatoes in a wonderful red sauce, and lots of veggies, cooked soft and comforting like grandma used to make! The avoglemono soup is thick and lemony and delicious. Even the tomato and cucumber salad is something to delight in - sop up the salad dressing with bread and swoon! My son raves about the pasta (in that same terrific red sauce) and the moussaka and pastitsio are the best I have ever had. The stuffed grape leaves with lemon sauce is my wifes favorite and if you are lucky enough to be there when they are serving galactabourko (the desert) you will lick the plate. We no longer live in NH but go at least a couple of times a year and drive for HOURS just to enjoy it. As you can see I cannot recommend it highly enough. I am a ""foodie"" and it is my favorite restaurant of all time. Enjoy!
Pros: Inexpensive, easy to park, kid-friendly, fast service, but the best part is delicious food!
Cons: There are none...really!
