Charged me for work that I didn't want done and never authorized. Rude on the phone. The work that we did want done was completed quickly and well, but I will never return.

Great shop 3/21/2011

Jim is an honest mechanic that takes his job seriously. In my experience, he has gone the extra mile in finding reasonably priced parts to make repairs. Though their shop may not have the quick turn-around that others boast, their attention to detail and quality of work keep me coming back. more

Athens Import Auto Repair is outdated and slow 12/31/2009

slow and not very cost effective. not very clean shop and very antiquated equipment. i guess if i had a 66 vw beetle they would work but not with todays complex cars. very disassified. more

I have been a customer of Jim Miner's for nearly five years. This is a very good car repair shop!!!. Jim is honest and takes his work seriously. If you have an import car, vintage or not, in need of repair this is the place to go. Jim is analytical and loves working on cars, particularly after he has solved a difficult problem. I wholeheartedly recommend this very fine business more
