Was there today with a group of about 10 people. I will NEVER be back. Ordered soup and sandwich, my son had the nachos & cheese and my niece had the chili & mac to name a few things. My soup had a fishy taste so I sent it back and said I wanted nothing else; the nachos ($3.50) had about 25 chips and processed cheese so my son ate about 5 nachos & sent it back and my niece wouldn't eat her chili & mac. Mine and my niece's food was tasted by other members in my party and all said ""not very good"" and they wouldn't eat it either.
Got the bill, saw that I was still being billed for my full meal and talked to Mark, owner/manager. When I calmly stated that I didn't think I should have to pay for all of my and my son's food, he said, ""Whatever."" Told him that as a customer I didn't appreciate that especially since I wasn't being rude to him. After a number of minutes hearing how he sells gallons of the soup and has 500 customers a day, etc. I said again that I would pay for my 1/2 sandwich but the soup was inedible. He stated there was no price for 1/2 sandwich and would just take it all off (with great attitude).
Got to the register and in front of other customers he said, ""and I'll take off the crappy soup you wouldn't eat and the nachos your kid wouldn't eat.""
Well, Mark, on my way out, one more of your ""500 daily customers"" heard me complaining to my brother-in-law and said her food was horrible and she wouldn't be back either. (Oh, and everyone else in my group didn't care for the coney dogs either. They ate because we'd just done a charity walk and were hungry.)
Very bad customer service on his part. It's a shame he owns the place as well.
