We had recently moved from South Carolina, and were looking for a school for our son to continue training. Found this place on line, went and checked it out. Put off immediately by the long term contract required to sign up with payment being drafted from our bank. I had never experienced such practices from previous martial art schools. We did it anyway, and were immediately told that we had to buy$ 500.00 worth of equipment required to continue in the school. Also extra $40 for some weird certificate I had never heard of before. Every time my son test it was an additional $50, and a late fee if not paid for 2 weeks in advance. The arrogance of the instructors was something I noticed right off the bat. My son had been taught previously in a school where humility was key, not here. The teachers are in a power struggle with one another, and undermine each other in front of the students. I have nothing against any of these men personally, but as leaders of young people, they have much more to learn first. As business owners, they clearly are in it for the money and the money only. I wouldn't recommend this school to anyone.
Pros: nice enough people
Cons: long term contracts with many extra BIG expenses later
