Bought an iPhone 4 summer before last, which involved signing a new contract with AT&T for two more years. The salespeople were very courteous then. The phone was stolen. Returned to purchase a new phone, which required me to extend my AT&T contract another two years. The salespeople again were very friendly. This time they recommended I get a Samsung Infuse. I did so. The phone turned out to be a lemon, very slow at downloading anything, much of the time downloading nothing at all. I took the phone back to the store. I was told it was defective but they could not replace it. Instead, I was told I had to contact a division that handled warranty replacements. The division refused to replace it. Went back to the store, thinking they would go to bat for their customers. They proved not only unhelpful, but unfriendly, including the manager. I felt like I was an annoyance to them. This is a store where people fall all over themselves to sell you something, but treat you like an inconvenience or an impertinence when you need service and support. Bottom line: go to Best Buy in Frisco; it's just up the road. Better than that: go with a wireless service other than AT&T.
