Although this store has great products, i cant help but feel that the manager there really doesn't care. She was rude to me and seemed very impatient with my questions regarding healthy pet foods. I feel slightly uncomfortable going in there now because of the look she gives me. more

I buy a LOT of food for 2 rescue danes and a shepherd plus 3 rescued cats. The prices are good and the food is available, or if not, there is always an alternative that is satisfactory. Since I closed my shop in BC, this is my place for pets, and I can assure shoppers the markup is not unreasonable, and the staff has shown me products that have saved me some money. The staff/owners have been helpful and nice, and I highly recommend this store. I had shopped all over LV prior to finding this place, including the big chains that carry subpar food. First of all I happen to know Karen.. She is an avid animal rescuer and yes happens to love cats!!!! I think that if your looking to protect your house from this rabid cat that animal control is the right way to go.. But to blast a business owner for standing her ground about not harming another animal is way wrong.. Trust me as a fellow rescuer of animals if I had a women like you come in and rant crazy things (like I am sure you did) I would have told you off too.There is a process that you can capture a live animal and humanly take it to animal control or a cat rescue who know how to help this homeless pet.. You act as if the cat asked for her life.. Think again it because countless idiots don't spay or neuter their pets.. I commend Karen for all her work and I happen to Love her pet store.. its one of a kind and I will further support the store.. more

I enjoyed shopping at the store for about a year until the owner ticked me off the other day. While I was searching for a Christmas dinner for my dogs, she approached me and said ""My name is Karen, I'm one of the co-owners. Its been brought to my attention that you've been asking how to kill animals..."" She mentioned the fact that I had asked about getting rid of cats and I corrected her along with pointing out the fact that I asked once A YEAR ago! First of all, my young kids enjoy playing in the sand area of our backyard. Second of all, every neighbor owns dogs. No cats. A feral cat began wandering into our yard on a daily basis and would use the sand area as its litter box! I also have a toy dog that weighs 4lbs. That cat wasn't the least bit frightened off by our tiny dog. I've heard numerous stories about feral cats harming dogs and even scratching out the eyes of dogs. I even watched a program about a boy who once ate dirt and wound up consuming a parasite that eventually ate a part of his brain and caused him to completely lose vision in one eye. One of the store employees showed me a product that was supposed to discourage unwanted animals from using your yard as their bathroom. When that failed to work, I was feeling angry enough to think I wanted that cat dead. I phoned animal control about the situation but that cat stopped coming to our yard once we bought a big dog. Karen had the audacity to act as though I didn't have the right to protect my children or small dog from that cat!!!! If she's stupid enough to keep feral cats in her home, that's her problem. But as a business owner, she should know when to keep her opinions to herself. Thank goodness there are other stores that carry the brand I feed my dogs and those stores are run by people that don't have a problem with others protecting their children and small pets. I'd much rather do business at the competition than At Your Service Pet Supplies. more

Was told by a friend about this store when it opened. I have only shopped there since. The staff is great, will help you out to your car, it really is ""at your service"". Nice change to the other stores. Pros: Customer Service is fantastic more

I stopped in here while shopping in the area to look for some dog toys. Their prices are cheaper than Petsmart on most items. They sell my dogs food for $8 less than the store I was buying at before. They also offer the 11th bag free. Not sure if this is just for Canidae but with a St. Bernard and a German Shepard this is a great savings for me! Staff is very friendly and knowledgable. Store wide range of premium dog foods, Innova, Timberwolf and many other brands, both dry and canned. Employees are very knowledgeable about the products that are sold. Access to wheat/gluten free high protein food not found in most main stream pet stores or supper markets and a line of products for feeding the RAW diet. more

Was told of this store by a friend. Ended up there because this store is the only one around that sells grain free food for cats - a must need for a diabetic cat! Owner & employees always friendly every time I go in there - very helpful. The owner actually helped me with food for my diabetic cat - more than my own vet could provide. Employees are always friendly & helpful - always ask if I need help out to the car with my purchases. Customer service is great - something lacking in most stores today. Prices are comparable - grain free food is more expensive than other foods, but you have to expect that. A good store to find things you can't find at other pet stores. Good location, too! more
