This firm manages a property for me. In spite of repeated requests that they contact me first they regularly made very expensive repairs with out contacting me. Oh, that place in that contract that says they will not spend more than $200 per repair without owner consent-don't believe it. They also charged me for the same repairs repeatedly. I had to send them their own invoices to show them that they had charged me for the same repair three times.I guess I was lucky because they only charged me twice for some of the others. more

These people are unprofessional, liars, and will try to cheat you. When we first viewed the unit they quoted us a low price, and tried to raise it several times, including the day before we moved in after we had already signed the lease! It takes them weeks to respond to maintenance requests and then only if you complain.\r \r The employees are very unprofessional. I heard f-bombs from some open office doors when we were there and the agents never seem to know very much about anything.\r \r Also, if you click on the only reviewer who gave them 5 stars he only has one review and his hometown says San Francisco, CA ....... looks like a spammer hired by the company? I wouldn't put it past them. more

8/12/2010\r My wife and I looked at a property through an agent. She verbally promised that all stains in the carpets would be fixed, and if not salvageable, replaced. She also assured us that every repair would be made before our move in date. Well this past Tuesday when I went to pick up the keys, I was told that the ac unit froze up and leaked through out the unit. One of the managers assured us that they already took care of it and the repairs were in the drying process. I went by that night and was shocked by what I saw. \r First there is still a hole in our living room ceiling, one of the bedrooms still has the carpet drying, and we can't move anything in there. The walls are damp and water damaged too.\r The house smells horrible. None of the stains discussed were taken care of. (Big florescent pink and yellow stains on the carpet. This is the worst management company I have ever come across in 5 states. I honestly believe that they do not communicate with each other and are told to lie to prospective renters in order to get them to rent from them. If you have pets DO NOT FOR WHATEVER REASON rent from them, they do not and will not care about their safety or well being. If you do get a deposit back for your spotless rental it WILL be late and they will lie to you. The owner of the company is very much not at the top of her profession other then she is well versed in avoiding phone calls and questionable business practices. If they tell you that the location is safe - do not believe them- your rental will be more then likely broken into in the "safe" neighborhood. You will not get friendly service, you will get bad attitudes, nasty phone conversations, nasty letters and no help whatsoever from the "emergency line". If I could give them less then one star I would, they are the worst people I have EVER rented from! Very Unprofessional, they do not return phone calls or emails, and their emergency line is a joke! I was lied to on many occasions and they never followed through on anything they said they would! DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!!!! Save yourself aggravation and money and rent from somebody else! more

At Home PM is very professional in their work. The broker Lynn is very much on top of her profession. The property managers have their cell phone #s listed on the company website, which tells you that they are always available. They do good credit checks on tenants, which is good news for property owners. \r \r What really makes them stand out is how they get to know all the property owners and tenants personally. They provide very fast and effective management services, something that is quite rare in this profession. I would highly recommend At Home PM to both tenants and landlords, because they care for you. more

I don't know if they wanted to behave as slum lords but they never would get anything fixed. We could only get their attention when we wrote certified letters. I am not talking about dripping faucet, but like broken pipes, ac that crapped out, and power outlets that don't work more

I lived under these realtors for one year. The application process went smooth. They took care of the property as needed. But they really scammed us in the move-out. We were never given paperwork to show we had to do a physical walk-through with an agent in order to keep our deposit. We were very clean and responsible tenants and left that place SPOTLESS but they still scammed us out of money for new paint jobs and carpets for the whole house. We felt like we shouldn't have to have paid for all that, considering how the house was when we moved in. We wrote a formal complaint, when through all their "regulated compaint" terms and were only given a small amount back in the end. We left on a very unhappy way, after a lot of work on our part to keep up their property. more
