Kevin is a great asset to our family. We were fortunate to be referred to him, after being turned down by several sitters due to inconvenience for them to drive to our residence, the size of our 2 lagre dogs, the hours we needed them, and the list goes on and on. Kevin was a Godsend! He not only sits for our 2 big, beautiful babies anytime we need him (he's even available for same day requests!), but his online scheduling system is so convenient for requesting services. \r \r He goes above and beyond by working on obedience (our dogs walk so well on the leash now, thanks to him!), Kevin brings special treats for the boys, and he even honored a two page request list of the finiky way we like to walk/play with our dogs! I love the fact that he texts my cell phone updates after the sitting sessions to know how the day went. We had never tried a pet sitter before and were nervous about the prospect. But, Kevin is very professional, provides an initial consult to meet the pet and get to know the 'routine'. In addition, he provides great tips on dog food recommendations, training tips, and is very willing to incorporate the commands we've established to keep consistency. He's shown genuine care and concern for our dog which has made us all the more willing to recommend him....he is great! more

We were flying out of town for the holidays, had a sick Kitty needing two types of medication and boarding was not an option. Fortunately, we found Kevin from an online search of pet sitting associations that another friend told us about.\r \r The consultation went well and the care for our elderly cat while we were away. Kevin had good suggestions for dispending her oral medication as well as her food. He didn't mind that we called to check on her condition and we always enjoyed receiving the text messages/pictures. He also has you confirm that you have returned so your pet will not be left uncared for if you have a travel delay.\r \r Our cat is healthy and happy when we return and no longer gets stressed out when we are away. Kevin and his services are a huge asset to our family!! We always know that whenever we go out of town our two kids (dogs) will be well taken care of!! He is extremely professional and even practices the same techniques we try to practice with our dogs regarding behavior. I know that I can count on At Home Pet Services to provide my two senior dogs with love and care when I am away from home. Not only do they feed and provide fresh water for my pets, they also play with them and give them the love and attention they desire. I always receive a text or email message after each visit so I know the dogs are doing well. I moved to Nashville with two young cats this past January. Not knowing anyone to assist with the ""Boys"" I needed to find someone who would come to the house and take care of them while I was traveling. Each time I come home from a trip you can tell the care and attention they receive in my absence. I have called last minute and have always been accomodated. The services Kevin provides are wonderful. He agreed to help me out on rather short notice and on a busy holiday weekend, so I really appreciate that. My kitty isn't very fond of other kitties, so taking him to a kennel wasn't something I wanted to do. My little guy, who is usually quite shy, took to Kevin immediately, so I knew this was definitely the way to go.\r \r Kevin's rates are reasonable, and he's dependable and trustworthy. Kevin at At Home Pet Services has done wonders for my 2 year old lab Buster. When I took him for a walk Buster would walk me. Kevin has been walking Buster for a little over a month and now he is a perfect gentleman on his walks. He enjoys his walks better (I definitely do). Before he seemed frustrated all the time, always on guard and out of control. Now Buster is calm and confident on his walks. Another BIG thing is how Kevin helped me with the food I feed Buster . I used to feed Iams thinking i was giving him a good quality food until Kevin went over the ingredient list with me. He said years ago Iams used to be a good food, but when they were bought out by a big conglomerate the only thing that remained of the original is the packaging. Kevin has done extensive research on food and gave me several Good choices. I switched Buster to Merrick in over the course of 4 weeks i have seen a dramatic difference. His coat is beautiful and his stool is less. I also loved the way Kevin texts me after every walk to let me know 1. when he was there and 2 how the walk went. Me and my boyfriend just moved from Texas to Nashville. We finally wanted to go on a little get-a-way BUT we don't know anyone yet to trust to check on our three kitties. I found Kevin by searching on google and right away, I loved his website and his services. While we were gone, Kevin kept us updated on each visit. We have a two year old Boxer that of course our family loves dearly. Up until a month ago we had a huge problem when we would go out of town. In the past we have tried leaving our dog at our vet, as well as, three other dog kennels. Our dog absolutely hated staying at these places. She would start whining as soon as we pulled into the parking lot. She would growl at the staff which is so out of character for her. Our Boxer is the most loving dog and is so good with our three boys. However, she could not stand staying at these places. It was a traumatic experience for her and our entire family everytime we went out of town. We finally decided there had to be something better for our beloved dog. I started researching our options and found At Home Pet Services. I called At Home Pet Services on a Friday which was very last minute because we had been agonizing about what we were going to do. We almost cancelled our trip because we just couldn't put our dog through the trauma again. But after talking with Kevin Burt the owner of At Home Pet Services we immediately felt that our problem had been solved. He came to our home that afternoon for a get to know each other visit. We felt very comfortable letting Kevin take care of our Boxer, and our dog immediately fell in love with Kevin. The weekend was a huge success. Kevin came and took our dog for walks while we were out of town. He would send us text messages after each visit and he would even e-mail us pictures of our dog. We have since used At Home Pet Services on two other occasions and continue to be absolutely grateful for Kevin. Our dog no longer minds when we go out of town. She loves when Kevin comes to our home and takes her for walks and plays with her. \r Kevin and At Home Pet Services has truly been a God send for our family and our dog.
