Best

I hope that they start renting out houses because I don't hink i'm ever going to want to give up the landscaping they provide, the responsibilty of the building and its maintenanc...

Worst

At home apartments staff have been rude to me, lied to me, failed to respond to my calls, and quoted incorrect rental law to me. It takes weeks to get attention from maintenance....

They're around when I need them! 2/28/2011

I'm walking distance to groceries, coffee shops, restaurants, bus stops, shopping, banks, etc. I feel like I live in my home b/c i'm not bothered my the management, yet I know they're around when I need them--even when I had to go in on a Sunday afternoon when I thought for sure they'd be closed! more

The price has always been right! 2/28/2011

I've lived with At home apartments throughout college in a studio right on Grand Avenue in the mix of it all and i've enjoyed the maintenance-free lifestyle of renting with them that i've decided to move up into a 1BR now that i've graduated from law school. The price has always been right and I love that the staff knows me by name and always pays attention to my requests about maintenance, etc. more

Highly Recommend 2/25/2011

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful experience with At Home Apartments. I would highly recommend any of At Home Apartment's properties in the St. Paul area. more

Great neighborhood 2/24/2011

Our apartment is cozy and is in a great neighborhood. We feel safe raising our daughter here. My husband & I love living in St. Paul and plan on living with the At Home Apartments management for years to come. more

Friendly Service! 2/23/2011

Friendly service, maintenance requests handled promptly. more

At Home Apartments were more than accommodating! 2/22/2011

My husband & I moved to Grand Ave in May, 2009. We loved the location, layout of the apartment and the cost of rent for a one bedroom! Then we found out we were pregnant and the At Home Apartment staff were more than accommodating. They allowed us to transfer our lease in February, 2010 to another apartment complex with two bedrooms. We received the entire deposit back from our first apartment within days of transferring apartments. Maintenaince has always responded to any concerns within a day or two and have always fixed anything that needed to be repaired more

Second Year-Two Buildings 5/5/2009

@ Home Apartments has provided me two apartments now. I use to live in a one bedroom and now a two bedroom at their Oxford. My experiences with the staff have been excellent and my calls were returned promptly. Everyone is very friendly and easy to talk to. Maintenance is pretty quick to respond, and I have spoken to a few of their staff members. No major issues other than a I had a stove malfunction and they fixed it within two days. As far as the buildings go...they are kept up very well for being historic. I think they are maintained well. Its never going to be new construction...with this in mind its great. I looked a other buildings in the area and IMO @ Home is better. My roomie and I have had several friends over and everyone loves our place. They think its really cool and has a good vibe. I highly recommend @ Home Apartments for anyone looking for a nice place to hang their hat. more

Barely Habitable 3/16/2009

At home apartments staff have been rude to me, lied to me, failed to respond to my calls, and quoted incorrect rental law to me. It takes weeks to get attention from maintenance. Maintenance doesn't actually fix any problems. I've had to have city inspectors come out to try to help me with issues. One inspector actually told me that they get a D- for upkeep and he wouldn't live in my apartment. He said I should move. Everything is broken; thermometer, smoke detector, burnt out bulbs, cracked floors, cabinets and drawers won't close, paint is chipping. My apartment wasn't cleaned when I moved in. The water doesn't work most of the time. The heat is erratic. It was 64/65 degrees in my apartment for three weeks and I was rudely told there was nothing they could do and I should stop calling. The neighborhood is horrible. I've had to call the police with noise complaints. There is no parking. The washing machines are expensive and often broken for weeks. The worst part is that the office staff doesn't care and is terribly rude. I am absolutely shocked. Not only will I never deal with At Home Apartments again after my lease is up, I intend to move away from St. Paul entirely. What a horrible experience. more

Good Renter 8/19/2005

At Home Apartments rents classic apartments throughout the twin cities. Most are in historic (by American standards) buildings and feature hardwood floor. Like most renter’s in the twin cities, At Home Apartments insists upon year long leases, but they do offer a buy out clause. Both rental and maintenance staff are friendly and professional, and their prices are competitive for this market. I rented from At Home for nearly three years, and I never had a problem. Problems were fixed quickly, and my building was kept clean. Unlike many independent renters, At Home will respond to emergencies at two in the morning. more
