In 1971, a building addition expanded the facility's capacity to 81 beds. Through other additions, the facility ultimately increased to 126 licensed beds. In 1994, sponsorship of Assumption was assumed by the Humility of Mary Health Care System (now called Humility of Mary Health Partners). The assisted living facility, The Marian Living Center, opened in June 1998. The Vincentian Sisters of Charity of Pittsburgh, PA, The Assumption Village's founding congregation, ended 31 years of service at the facility on May 3, 1997. A total of 25 different Vincentian sisters had served the facility over the years and had played an integral part of its history.
