That's not true, they called repeatedly, they have called twice after I have said No. more

Aspen Media are violent serial rapists who are directly responsible for the death of JonBenet Ramsey. Don't talk to them under any circumstances. more

I was asked at the end of the ""survey"" for security questions answers - What are the last four digits of your SSN? What is your mother's maiden name? \r You draw your own conclusions what information they are after and where these questions fit in an ""engineering publication survey."" more

Aspen kept calling and leaving messages saying that they are Google and needed to talk to us. When we didn't return the calls, they threatened to close our Google account. Real low life's. more

Editorial review from Citysearch 8/9/2012

Called a few times, so I answered finally- they are just conducting a political survey- it took 10 minutes and the caller was courteous. They are not selling anything and were not harassing. I don't mind answering surveys like this, so was not a big deal! more

Aspen uses the ""survey"" loop-hole to skirt rules. 11/15/2011

While Aspen doesn't directly sell goods or services, they do sell the information you provide in the ""survey"" to third-parties which in turn later solicit you. Unfortunately, the Do Not Call registry exempts ""survey"" calls from telemarketing rules and this loop-hole is what Aspen exploits to the fullest. In fact, without this ""survey"" exemption they would be out of business tomorrow. Worse yet, if you ask not to be called Aspen is suppose to honor that request but they don't. That's where I have a problem with them. I have asked them in 2007 and 2008 to stop calling but continue to get calls to this day. Hank Schaller is the owner and president and his email is hschaller@aspenonnet-com if you should wish to contact him. more

Company Violating Conumer Protection Laws 10/24/2011

Aspen Media is violating do not call laws. While they claim it is for research. They are in fact being hired by companies to gather marketing data for them as a means to by pass the current laws that protect consumers from being exploited by telemarketing. When I called to have my name removed from their list. Their service mail box was full and could not take my request. So I cannot even get off their list. DO NOT do business with Boulder, Colorado as long as they allow companies like this to operate. Colorado is harboring an industry to circumvent the consumer protection laws and we will not tolerate this by boycotting any and all dealings with the state. I hope people will see that Aspen Media & Market Research is a front for corporate activity that is unlawful when carried out by them directly. Aspen should be shut down and their CEO arrested. more

Excellent Local Employer 9/9/2011

Aspen is just your typical telephone research call center. I've had friends that have worked there over the years and two were supervisors. They only said good things about the place. I hung out with them when my girlfriend played on their software team and the people were cool. Just like anyone else. They even had these BBQs where I got free food. I just think there are a lot of haters out there that want to complain when they get a phone call for a survey. My caller friends only complained about how rude the people were on the other end of the line. The supervisors made them be nice even if people cussed at them. All you need to do is nicely ask to 'take me off the list"", instead of whining here on city watch. There's only six complaints here over 5 years and they probably make a million calls a year. Pretty good track record. Hammertime is probably somebody who got fired for falling asleep or coming to work stoned. more

Not a scam, but still pretty bad. 8/18/2011

Contrary to the reviews here, Aspen Research isn't a scam company. They don't want your credit card number, bank account, or any money. They do, however, want your time. Aspen Research is a telephone survey company that takes on all sorts of clients, from soft drink companies to political interest groups (Which are often the worst, since they don't want to ask questions so much as they want to fill your head with slander about their opposition.) I can't argue against the claim that their employees are rude or annoying. The place mostly relies on temp workers and former convicts/felons, whom they pay minimum wage, and training is a joke. I'm sure turnover rates are high too. Apparently they get results for their clients though. Anyway, if you ever get a call from Aspen and you don't want to take their survey (and why would you?), don't yell at the surveyor or plead with them to stop calling you (that's another thing - they often call the same number numerous times.) Instead, simply and calmly state ""take me off the list."" They are required by law to do so. I repeat - THE ONLY WAY TO STOP GETTING CALLS FROM ASPEN IS TO SAY ""TAKE ME OFF THE LIST."" Those magic words are the only way to get them to remove your number from their auto-dialer. Anything else - pleading, threats, etc. - will only result in you getting another call some other time. ""Take me off the list"" should get them to stop - if they don't comply with your request, demand to speak to the manager, and he'll do so for you. In most cases (if the employee knows what they're doing), ""Take me off the list"" should work, not only for Aspen Research, but any company that uses an auto-dialer, including telemarketers. tl;dr Aspen is an annoying telephone survey company that will keep calling you unless you say ""take me off the list"" in a firm tone. Keep that in mind next time you get any soliciting call from a real person. more

Scam Company 5/18/2011

This is a scam company if ever there were one. Somehow we ended up on their call list and they use auto or robot calls to harrass us every day. Block this phone number (303) 786-9500 if you can. Do not give them any information. more

Constant annoying calls 4/11/2011

According to their voice recording they are a survey company, but given that we receive calls from them daily, sometimes multiple calls in one day, it's as annoying as any other telemarketer. Submitted a request to be removed from their call list, and we have resorted to putting them straight to voicemail or just hanging up, but a bunch of random people using an automated dialing system in some call center somewhere could care less. more

DANGEROUS COMPANY! 2/1/2011

Just recieved a phone call from an incredibly rude girl who asked to update our company contact into. After confirming company name, address & email she pretended her system had logged her off right before she hung up on me. A total scam. DO NOT give these people your email or any contact info. I intend to report them to the BBB and hope anyone else who gets one of their unsolicited phone calls will also do the same! more

Bad form, Aspen Media & Market Research 9/10/2010

Bad form. Take my time promising to pay me $10 - then hang up on me?!?!?! That is not a good way to treat other people. more

STEALTH TELEMARKETERS to People who have long been on the DO NOT CALL LIST 8/20/2006

Aspen Media & Market Research fails to list who they are on caller-id when they call from 303-786-9500. Some hang up when you ask who they are. Some will say hello, but refuse to answer any of your own questions. RUDENESS seems to be the rule, which is bad for business. They have called at all hours of the day and night, long before and after the 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. restrictions for telemarketers. Cons: RUDENESS, Stealth Telemarketers, calling before 8am & after 9pm more
