I was under the impression that a dentist would be able to get rid of my severe toothache. I was given the exrays and exams and told I would have to see an Endodontist or have a surgical procedure to have the tooth removed. This first exam and exray process took almost 2 1/2 hours, I drove one hour to have this done as the dentists in our area are all booked, and I'm still in pain. Thank goodness there was no charge. I missed most of my workday. And returned in more pain after the hygienist exam left my gums poked and bleeding. I wish the visit would have been shorter and if nothing could be done, I wish I could have been told this up front. I realize there is a process, but it seems extensive without the initial conversation with the patient.
