I made an appointment for my cat, who was not feeling well. I was told it would be $1400 to treat him and if he was not recovered by the next day he would have to go somewhere else because they would be closed. When I declined and decided to take him to a vet that would be able to treat him for more than one day, I was charged a $90 emergency visit fee. When I questioned the woman at the desk she stated,"" did we not tell you about the fee over the phone"", and then began to argue with me that it was an emergency visit because they took me without a prior appointment. My cat was treated at my prior vet and is feeling well again. My bill was $160.
