Best Sushi and Thai food in Columbus 4/29/2010

We live in UA and drive to Gahanna at least twice a month to eat at this terrific place. Very pretty inside. Not too well lit. Great drinks. Wonderful Thai food and the sushi is so good. Soups are wonderful as is the salad. The servers are very nice and well informed. Restrooms are clean. They accept reservations. We eat out a lot and and we have eaten at Asian Gourmet no less than 20 times and we have never had an experience that I would rate less than an "A". Love it and will be dining there this weekend. Hidden Treasure 3/24/2006

We found a gem in the local strip mall. Very uninviting from the outside but lovely inside. The fish tanks behind the bar add simple charm. With very friendly service and excelent food. Definately one of our new favirite places. I had the Rainbow Roll and it I had to force myself to start eating it ,it was so beautiful. My wife had one of the Koean dishes which I helped out on and it also was delicate and spicy, We will definately be back. In fast getting carryout tonight. more

great sushi 9/2/2005

What a boring and generic name for a restaurant that blows supposedly high-end asian restaurants like PF Changs and Cameron Mitchells Maggie Woo out of the water. Its stripmall location in Stoneridge Plaza is equally deceptive. The restaurant was recently renovated and what a difference it makes. The food has always been amazing but now the dcor matches. The interior is very tranquil and zen-like. We always have sushi when we go but Ive heard all the dishes are delicious. The sushi is high-quality and they have all the standard fare but they also have many specialties as well try the morse roll its my favorite. more

A cut above the rest! 4/1/2005

China Gourmet recently relocated, but can still be found in Stoneridge Plaza, and has taken advantage to create a new, ambiotic experience! The dishes are still a 'cut above the rest', and the sushi is the best on the east side of Columbus. Kid-friendly, prompt, courteous service, and as always, superb entrees! Pros: food, ambience more
