Wonderful food/ okay atmosphere 3/22/2006

The food at Asian garden is great. They have a huge menu which includes Chinese, Thai , and Malaysian- the only place to get Thai around. They have a wide range of vegetarian entrees. The prices are moderate and you can order food to your desired level of spiciness. On the other hand, there is no atmosphere. The tables are close together, the chairs are uncomfortable, and the services is poor (even when they are not busy). Five star for food, one for atmosphere. excellent for take out. more

Over rated Chinese food 8/19/2005

Everyone raves about this place, but it isn't all that great. The store is very hot and the service is on the slow side. The tea is gritty most of the time and it takes forever to get ice water. The food is slightly on the expensive side. The place is pretty small. The menu is extesive however. more

Great food 8/17/2005

This restaurant is very small but has good food. The service is questionable at times, but I think it's because there are so many people in a small area and usually only 2 waiters. They have a small lunch buffett that a lot of people love (I have not tried it). The prices may be a little high, but not too bad. Like I said, the food is great. No complaints. They serve you hot tea and ice water upon arrival. You can see into the kitchen from most tables, so you may or may not like that. The first few times I went there is was unbearably hot - I mean HOT. So bad that you were sweating and very very uncomfortable. However, the last time I was there this was not an issue. So hopefully that is fixed. more
