Fun fall activities and more 12/16/2005

I have been to this farm for their Fall pumpkin picking activity. We scheduled a tour for our small group of moms and kids. We enjoyed seeing some animals, taking a wagon ride to the pumpkin patch, picking and pumpkin, and playing in the hay maze. It was hard for moms with several young kids to carry the pumpkins. I suggest taking dads too so you can have some help chasing kids and carrying pumpkins. The staff was very nice and everything was very organized. more

Good Strawberries 11/8/2005

The Ashland Berry Farm is a great place to pick strawberries in the spring. They have fun hayrides and many field of berries. Eat all you want in the field and their prices are competitive for what you buy. They have other berries too. They also have pumpkins, Haunted Hayrides and other attractions around Halloween. It is great family fun. more

Pumpkin Patch and Hayrides 10/26/2005

Ashland Berry Farm offers hayrides out to the pumpkin patch in the fall and strawberry picking in the summer. They are a pretty big operation. I prefer to visit the smaller farms in the area and give them my business. They have more of a hometown feel. I have been to Ashland Berry Farm with groups of children and the staff was less than friendly. I was not impressed at all with the way they handle groups. more
