I inherited a Harley Davidson Sportster after my brother passed away and decided because of availability to take the bike to ASAP Powersports to get it running. I had previously gone over the bike and rewired the hand controls, all of the lights where working and the engine would crank but only after taking the plugs out. I took it to ASAP Powersports and received a quote of $240 to go over the bike and get it running. It took them a few months and they finally replied that the starter needed replacement, all other electrical items where fine. I agreed to pay them an additional $100 to uninstall the old starter and to install a new one that I would provide. Several more months went by and nothing, I finally went down there and started complaining, they said they would get it done. After a few more weeks, I call them and am told that they took off the primary cover and the clutch basket needed replacing. I came in and looked it over and agreed. I took the old parts to have them cleaned and purchased a new clutch basket for them to install, I returned all of the necessary parts to get this done.
