Ultimate Makeover!!! 11/10/2007

Earlier this summer, I was looking for a change in my hair style. I was referred to a brand new AVEDA salon nearby in Redmond called Asante. I was told that the owner was a pure professional and employed only the best technicians and stylists. \r Recently, I indulged myself for what started out as a simple haircut, but by the end, Liza (the owner) convinced me that a little here and a little there with AVEDA hair color and face cream products would make me feel and look about ten years younger. She was exactly and totally right. She took my dead gray hair and turned it into a vibrant healthy color and texture look that made me feel like I was walking on clouds.\r My friends, my wife and my kids said ""Very nice, you should have done that a long time ago""!\r And the hand, shoulder, neck and scalp massage come free with every treatment! So if you want a simple haircut or a ""Total Makeover"" call and reserve some time with Liza or Nihad at Asante Salon in Redmond, your cloud might be right around the corner. I have always been the kind of person to just go wherever and get my hair done because I wake up that morning and decide i NEED my hair cut/dyed/ect. Liza has cured me of this impulsiveness. After some regretful experiences (me with bangs... not good), it is a nice feeling to always walk out of her salon happy with my hair. She is also honest about what is and is not going to look good on me and work with my hair type.\r \r Liza is excellent with color and listens to what I want. I have not had a bad color from her and she is really good about blending the color to work well with my natural color to minimize visible roots as my hair grows.\r Yet, the color is still vibrant and people (yes, even the most unobservant of my guy friends) ask me if I got my hair dyed - and always with compliments.\r \r The atmosphere of the salon is so relaxing and I love going to get my hair done. Also the complimentary scalp and hand massage are especially nice. The area is clean and spacious with lots of windows and natural light. Easy on the eyes - peaceful for the soul.\r Pros: great service, convenient location, great staff! more

Very professional, friendly, and great style! 11/2/2007

Nihad has cut and colored my hair for a couple of years and I have always received compliments (which never happened before -- I have had alot of bad haircuts). So, when he moved to Asante Salon, I was more than willing to drive 30+ miles to continue to be a client of his. He is extremely talented as a colorist and he strives to make hair healthy and cuts flattering for each individual. Asante Salon is in a lovely location, Aveda products top notch. The staff is friendly and very professional. Those scalp and shoulder massages are a wonderful addition to an already pleasant experience. Highly recommended. more

NO OTHER SALON COMPARES! 10/31/2007

I moved here from California over 2 years ago. I've been searching for a salon that offers the professionalism and true expertise I expect when I have my hair cut and colored. I've been to Asante salon twice and am thrilled to say that my search is over. I love, love, love Asante salon. Nihad does my hair. I'll never go to anyone else. Nihad is the first stylist that has truly listened to me. He has ""vision"" and thinks ""outside the box"". He is amazingly talented. I am happier with my hair than I've ever been. I've gotten compliments from almost everyone. You can imagine how I feel when some one tells me that I look ten years younger after having had my hair done. Thank you Nihad. Asante salon is pretty and very comfortable. The people there are the best! Everyone is attentive to your needs. They're always asking if you need anything like water, coffee or tea. They serve the best tea. Nihad even gave me a shoulder massage! Fantastic! I trust Nihad so much that I would close my eyes and allow him to give my any style or color of his choosing. I've never, ever considered letting any other stylist do that. I can't wait until my next appointment. This is just the begining. Pros: Asante is located in a beautiful area. more

BEST SALON IN SEATTLE AREA!!!!! 10/22/2007

After a few years of having different people doing my hair and never being happy, I decided to try yet another salon. The moment I walked into Asante, it felt nice. I was welcomed by this cute trendy girl with great hair who brought me a warn cup of Aveda tea while I waited for my stylist Nihad. I knew I made the right choice with this salon right away. Because not only did I get a warm welcome and some wonderful tea, I received the most relaxing scalp massage that seemed to relax my entire stressed out body. Then, Nihad took me to his chair and began to work what can only be called magic!! In no time I had the PERFECT cut and color I was so amazed. I have never been able to get the cut that I wanted. I was in and out in no about 40 mins and felt great. This salon goes above and beyond in what they do. If you are looking for the most AWESOME stylist in the area go see Nihad you will be so happy. I have been to many salons and many stylist. Liza has consistently provided me with fantastic haircuts again and again. I also really appreciate all the little touches like her opening scalp massage with essential oil. Anyone who needs a great stylist must go to this salon. Ask for Nihad and you won't go wrong. Nihad has done my hair for quite some time and that is because he knows what works best for my hair; including color and cut. He always provides the best styling advice and customer service and is a joy to visit with!\r \r The salon staff are relaxed and friendly and offer wonderful advice and information on all of the wonderful Aveda products on hand. , I was referred to Nihad by a friend of mine. Nihad was so great, he looked at my hair and knew exactly what to do. I usually do blonde foils and every where I have gone in the past, since my hair is so dark , it always turn out either brassy or orange. Well when Nihad did my hair , using his AVEDA products that he carefully formulated for my hair , my hair was the most beautiful blonde I have ever seen. It is just such natural looking blonde , and best of all is I get compliments every where I go. Nihad you truly are an amazing hair designer, and you know how to do your blonde foils fast and percisely !! I will now never have to worry about my hair going orange !!!! I recommend Nihad to anyone who wants to try something new or is just looking to go blonde... plus the AVEDA color really saved my hair, it feels more healthy, shiny, and thicker !!!! Friendly Real People and Great Service 9/28/2007

As a long time client of Liza, I was happy to learn she was opening her own Aveda Concept salon. The new salon has a very soothing ambience. The complimentary scalp massage is an instant stress buster, and feels really good. Recently, I decided to completely change my look. Liza helped me chose a beautiful new hair color, cut off six inches of hair, and styled it perfectly. I was thrilled. My husband loves the ""new"" me. The Aveda hair color system gave a really lustrous shine to my hair. If you want a great cut, fabulous color, or a new look, I highly recommend Liza and the staff at Asante Salon. My hair done how I wanted it! 9/24/2007

I was referred to Nihad at this salon by a friend of a friend. I'm not one to normally go to a new stylist on just the word of mouth from another, but I really like how her hair was styled as well as the color. All in all I can't say enough good about Nihad! He's energetic, funny and listens to what you want and gives a good suggestion. My hair is finally the color I wanted again with a great hip & trendy cut!
