Fantastic Sushi! You can't beat the prices. I've been to Asahi a few times now, and the service has always been over the top--they do everything they can to accommodate your requests. Sushi is a little slow to come out, but the wait is worth it!! It's a shame more people don't know about it! more

Disapointing Korean BBQ 6/26/2003

If you're looking for good Korean food, this isn't the place. I had the Bulgogi recently, and the scraps of beef were so small, they weren't even fit for my dog. And for that price, I was expecting some good beef. I was totally disappointed with my dinner, and needless to say, I needed another meal an hour later. The service was quite good, tho. Korean Dishes 6/13/2003

I like the sushi here but the highlight is the Korean dishes. The Hae Dup Bap is the reason I keeping going back again and again. I've never seen this place crowded but the food is excellent. Korean food is good 2/9/2003

When I first heard about Asahi, I thought that its just another american style Japanese resturant, and I don't like tempura or raw fish at all. Finally, I have chance dinning there with my friends, and I am so impressed. Asahi has good sushi, according to my friends, but most important is that they offer the most deliious spicy Korean dishes in town. I love my dinner entree a lot, and I am sure that I will be their regular customer. Pros: good korean dishes Cons: cheaper is better more

Great for lunch. 1/20/2003

In my first and only visit to Asahi. I was treated like a king. I went for lunch and had the boat special, a mixture of 7 different sushi's. The fish was very fresh and unique. The first sushi I've had that didn't have roe on the outside of the roll, instead sesame seeds were used. Prices are extremely affordable and the tea was awesome. it's sad to see how few people know about this secret hideaway. Let's support this business and keep it here for a while. I love this place a lot. Its a total package! good food, wonderful service, and great atmosphere. If you love sushi, or Korean foods, or both, this is the place can bring you pleasure of dining. Overall, Asahi is the best sushi resurtant among the RTP area. more
