Good solid food and relaxed atmosphere 10/6/2009

I have been going to this restaurant for 15 years - 2 owners. They always make you feel welcome, are attentive but never pushy, and the food is always fresh. If you want Asian Fusion or especially creative items, go to Sushi Ai in Palatine and expect to pay a lot more. But if you want a good, reliable meal, where you can hear and enjoy the people you are with, then this is a great place. Pros: Relaxed, friendly, fresh more

Not Good Sushi 12/3/2004

I've been to about a half dozen sushi places in the NW burbs (and many places in chicago) and this place is the worst. I can't really understand how this place has been around for as long as it has (5 years or so?) I've been there 3 times in the last 5 years (each time thinking that they must have improved - and I've been wrong each time) its been empty every time -- however, there are some photos on the walls showing tons of people -- maybe I'm just not going when ""the good sushi chef"" is in? more
