Arwood Waste

If I could rate lower than 1 star, I would. I placed an order over 10 days ago, received SEVERAL emails regarding when my service would start (apparently, all lies), finally had to call the primary office only to find out what was going on (after giving them all my banking information for the billing), only to find out they don't service my area, even though their web site says otherwise. Shame on them. If they do end up processing my payment, I will sue for fraud. more

This is the 2nd review I've ever written. I had to write one, because my experience was so bad. I rented a 10 yard dumpster, which was significantly under-filled (with a wooden disassembled bunk bed without mattresses, a wooden chest of drawers, a child's riding Mattel Jeep, a plastic bin, a stand up lamp, bicycle, vacuum cleaner, small carpet cleaner and a few miscellaneous light weight items and absolutely no really heavy items). My dumpster was probably 2/3 full (at the most). I had a pre-job quote of less than $600, which was already paid. I started getting notices about a week later about an overdue amount owed to the company, which was almost $300 - another 50% on the original quote. I called the company about the situation, and I was told my 10 yard dumpster weighed 3.1 tons. There is absolutely no way those items weighed 3.1 tons. All of the items I placed in there were in my garage, which took about 1/4 to 1/3 of my garage space. It took me (a 53 year old woman) and my 13 year old son about an hour to load everything. I went ahead and paid my bill, because I have excellent credit but asked for the manager to call me. Of course, she never did. I wish I had looked at online reviews before going with this company. If I had, I would never had used them. more

I ordered a container from them, and paid for it before they brought it. I was told by the person that answered the phone that when it was full to call them and they would pick it up. She said that they did not charge for each day. I called them back to pick up the container after it was full. A couple of weeks latter they decided they wanted to charge my account without my permission double the amount that I paid initially. I'm sure it's worked on a lot of big companies. THESE PEOPLE ARE THIEVES 2 YEARS LATTER still dealing with them. Their going to hear from my lawyer that's for sure. They ain't getting a dime from me. more

I had a great experience with Arwood Waste! They got back to me fast with a roll off dumpster quote stuck to that price. I would use them again. more
