Mike was great to work with. I didnt think I would have much luck finding someone to help me out on my backyard because its on the smaller side. That was never an issue though and it showed with the detail and promptness and friendliness that Mike and his crew exhibited throughout my project. It was a great experience and the guys were all very friendly and professional and answered all of the questions I would keep coming up with it about the design and plants being used. Simply put it was a stress free, pleasant experience and I hope I get another chance to work with Mike and AJ and his crew. more

Mike and his crew were fantastic! Mike designed a backyard for me that fit my needs better than I could have imagined. His crew were extremely friendly, efficient and open to my comments and suggestions. My back yard was heavily slopped towards the house and I would end up with pools of water at the foundation. Grass would not grow and soil was eroding away. After consultation with Mike, we agreed on creating a retaining wall with steps that lead to an elevated plant area that included a walkway. The end result was beautiful and was beyond my expectation and imagination. My yard is now the envy of my neighbors. The front entrance also needed some help, including a new, wider and more stable walkway. We were able to pick brick that closely matched my existing foundation which resulted in a beautiful walkway and surrounding landscape. I can't say enough good things about Mike and his crew- they're the best! more

Best customer service that we found. Several companies wouldn't even offer us a quote for our small yard, and some wouldn't budge an inch to help us reach our budget. Mike was amazing and flexible and helped us to design something appealing for our yard that was within our budget. Helpful and friendly, customer service doesn't end when the plants go in, he has offered continuing assistance as needed in the coming year as our landscaping plants grow. more

I have waited a while to post this review but should have done it sooner. It has been well over a year but I wanted to see how things turned out in that time before saying I was happy. My wife and I had a row of screening evergreens installed (8 medium sized 6-7' Green Giant Arborvitaes) and all still look as green and healthy as day one; we had a paver patio (350 square feet) installed with no problems to date and we are still as happy with the layout and shape as we were day one; an area of sod that has taken a beating this year from this ridiculous summer but that's not their fault; and several beds created with lots of shrubbery and flowers and all are still happy and beautiful. Mike (our designer) was away for parts of the project and that worried me at first, but his foreman, A.J., and all the other guys were easy to talk to and know their stuff! All the men working were great and trustworthy. We are truly happy and anyone in the RTP area should give them a call first. Sorry I took so long to write this! more

My husband and I have admired one of our neighbor's landscaping so when we were ready to have new landscaping done all around our house we asked them for the name of the company that did theirs. What a wonderful experience! Mike, the designer, was a pleasure to deal with. His choice of plants to go all around my house were right on. All the plants that they installed were vibrant and beautiful. The crew was so accommodating and wanted to make sure we were happy with everything. They educated us on all the plants and how to take care of them and were extremely courteous. I've come to learn that others in the neighborhood have used them as well and were also very happy with them. I will definitely use them for future services and would highly recommend them. more

Our neighbor had some landscaping work done last year and we were so impressed with what we saw we decided to have a new look to our yard as well. Since then 3 other neighbors have had Artworks do their landscaping as well. All the yards are completely different, beutiful to look at, and very fitting with the neighborhood (not exceeding or overdone but certainly the best looking houses in our section of the subdivision). I cannot say in words how easy everyone is to work with. Mike, our designer, listened to every need and desire and did such a great job with transforming our wants and needs into something combined with his artistry. Such a pleasure to work with and we miss him being around every day since this project was completed. A.J., our foreman for the project, is so knowledgeable that when Mike was not around, it felt like he was because A.J. knows his stuff!!! Hard working young man and really cares about what he does. Nicest fellow I think I have ever met too. The other crew members were always able to answer questions at any time and really did a nice job at taking very good care of everything they touched. We made them cookies (: Overall it was a large project for us. We had a patio, pergola, landscape lighting, and new plants as well as new beds created and everything looks fantastic like something out of a magazine! Everything has been guaranteed and as matter of fact a shrub died and they quickly replaced it already. I wish we had more areas to landscape but instead we will be gladly referring and helping them find other yards to transform since ours is complete. Great experience! more

We wanted a stone paved patio put just outside of our screened-in porch. After researching several companies we decided to go with Artworks and I am SO glad that we did! Mike Curtis was so helpful from beginning to end. He knew exactly what we wanted and kept in contact with us every step of the way. He offered us many options and gave great recommendations. Rain delayed the project from beginning for a couple of weeks but he remained in constant contact. It made us feel like we mattered and that we could trust Artworks with this job. Once work began it was fast, professional and tidy. The guys who came to lay the pavers were very courteous and explained to us in detail how we should treat the area during and after the installation. All of our questions were answered thoroughly and in a timely fashion. Mike followed up with us more than once after the project was completed to make sure that we were satisfied - and we certainly were! As for the work itself- it is TOP quality. Even our power washer guy commented on how tightly the pavers fit together and what professional work it was. We could not be happier and have enjoyed grilling out and relaxing on our new patio. We get so many compliments on it. I recommend this company to the highest level. They are amazing!! Call them and you will NOT be disappointed. more

We had several appointments with other companies prior to meeting Mike and until we met him we had considered changing our plans and not get a new patio. Mike was a breath of fresh air compared to the other guys who simply had no passion. He drew up a couple of sketches for us that day and we had the patio installed shortly after and it looks great and we love using it. We decided to have a few trees and shrubs planted as well once the patio was completed and they are doing great as well. more

Have used landscape contractors and designers in the past with previous homes but never had a better experience than with these folks. Customer service, knowledge, and artistic ability is outstanding. Price for work performed was right in line with most bids we received. Everyone on the installation team was friendly and easy to communicate with. Highly recommended! more
