Excellent tour of the dunes 6/6/2010

This is an excellent and educational tour of the dunes around Ptown. Though the price may scare some people off, there is no other way to see parts of the area, and this tour the only one allowed to go to the preserved areas. The tour guides are extremely knowledgeable and you will definitely be entertained. more

A must in P-Town 4/27/2008

Art has been providing Dune Tours to P-town forever. It is defianately a very educational tour to learn about the dunes and the cape history. \r \r If I am not mistaken it is the only dune tour avaialble. We enjoyed every minute of it and can't wait to go back - even though it was quite bumpy! more

if i was to recommend a tour to anyone in my family, art's dune tours would be the one. this company has been in existence for over 40 years and their trail access is the best of them all. they also offer sunset clambakes for the romantic ones. more

A must see 11/12/2005

Art's Dune Tours are a must see if you are visiting P-town. The price is about $20 for adults. The sand dunes of Cape Cod are slowly disappearing and very few tours are allowed onto the dunes. Art's has permission for a small fleet of vehicles (equipped with dune tires) to travel up and down the dunes and beaches of P-town. We had a 2 hour tour which included riding into the dunes, a history of life on the dunes and a brief walk on the shoreline. Our guide was pleasant and very knowledgable. Beware it is a very bumpy ride! PROS: great fun CONS: none more
