Artistic Stone Gallery (est. 2003) moved out of 930 Commercial in September of 2009. They are next door now. All of these reviews belong to Artistic Stone Gallery. Artistic Tile and Stone, (in San Carlos area since 1982)moved into the building as a warehouse. Their Showroom is a block away at 830 Bransten Rd. The two stores are not related in any way. more

My wife and I went to Artistic with some idea of what we liked, but Patti was very helpful in fleshing out our ideas. Since she knows more about natural stone and porcelain than us, we appreciated her suggestions on what would and wouldn't work well. Although it seems clear that the reviewer below thought her help was unwanted and unneeded, that sure wasn't the case with us. more

I do try very hard to help each customer with their individual needs, while being considerate and thorough. Yes, design is a part of the service we provide here, most people who come in want our help and expertise and appreciate our willingness to take the time to find out what their needs are....I am very enthusiastic and I love my work and am very good at design...I am sorry if I was over zealous in my approach to you. I was looking to buy some natural stone and was confronted by a lady named Patti. I told her specifically what I was looking for and without her help, I found it there. I wanted to purchase the tile but not without her telling me what I should do with it. She was trying very hard to sell me a design that I clearly didn't want and thought it was really a poor design anyway and wouldn't put it in my dogs house. She was actually very rude to me after that and when I did need help, she pretty much shunned me and I in turn went somewhere else and even got a better deal and much better customer service. The selection they had was great and I would have purchased the stone from them but since they employ such horrible people, they just lost a good sale. more
