Arthur's Deli is the absolute best deli ever. There are several locations Dixon, Sterling, Rock Falls, etc. although it is not a chain. The have deli sandwiches that are not like Subway or Quiznos...these have really good bread and the meat is always fresh. They have quite a few different sandwiches to choose from and you pick your own toppings. Then they heat them up. FANTASTIC! They also have really good soups and loaded baked potatoes, Ely's cheesecake, frozen yogurt with a bunch of stuff you can have sprinkled on it. They have beer and wine if you'd like too. Arthur's even has a fresh carnation on every table in a Snapple bottle! It's a really nice place to go for lunch! THEY DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING FRIED so the place always smells FANTASTIC too. I wish they would open more of these, but I've heard from the owner himself if he opened another one his wife would divorce him so I think you'll have to enjoy the locations in northern Illinois! Worth the trip!!!
