Dancing with the sales pitch 5/19/2009

If not for the pushy sales manager and the constant sales pitch by the instructors the place would be a really good place to learn how to dance. The studio is a decent size and very clean. The instructors seem very nice. Its just that whole used car sales lot feel that makes you want to run the opposite way. If you're not hurting for cash I would recommend this place. Pros: Good instructors Cons: Sales Pitch continues without end more

Overpriced, Small, "Salesy" Dance Studio 1/14/2009

After months of convincing, I finally talked my husband into trying dance lessons with me and we decided to try the Arthur Murray since it was so close to our home.\r \r They offered a free "Dance Lesson" which turned out to just be a way for a salesman to sit us in an office and ask us to pay rates that were way our of our budget. I felt really bad for my husband since I talked him into going and there was no way that we could afford $125 PER lesson.\r \r I wish I would have done a little more research and tried one of the other dance studios in town. Now I may not get the chance :-( more

I have had a friend teach for these folks 7/22/2005

The place is a little rigid but it all depends on the teacher. This place is wonderful to learn to dance for a special occassion. A friend went here to learn to dance for her wedding. We went to learn to dance for a formal cruise. They have lessons afterwork hours. more
