DONT EVER GO HERE!!!\r \r When I had purchased my wedding dress at Wedding Dress Couture by Vassa, the owner of the store, Vassa, had informed me that the cleaning of the wedding dress is included in the price of the dress and gave me a card with the information for the cleaner that she works in conjunction with, Arthur Copeland Cleaners.She had told me to bring my dress to them and to tell them that I had purchased the wedding dress from her and the price of the cleaning should be free.I had brought in the wedding dress to be cleaned and the employee at the front desk did not say anything about a charge when the dress was dropped off after I had informed her where the dress was purchased from. When Arthur Copeland Cleaners had called me and informed me that the dress was ready for pick-up, I had gone to the location to pick it up.As I was picking up my dress, the employee behind the counter informed me that the price of the cleaning is $499.00. To my surprise, I was absolutely unaware of the charge and explained to the employee that there was not supposed to be any charge for the cleaning and was told this by Vassa of Wedding Dresser Couture. The female employee had told me that I was not the only one that had run into this issue; another customer paid $800 for her wedding dress because the same thing was told me her. The employee had also advised me to pay for the service so that I am able to take my dress home, and then create a dispute through my credit card company so that I could get the charge back. I had also asked to speak to the manager regarding this problem when I was at Arthur Copeland Cleaners, and the manager had refused to come to the front of the store to speak to me. There would be no reason whatsoever why would go to a cleaner in which I have never been to before only to be charged $499. The fact that no amount nor the notion of a fee was agreed upon at drop off is clearly misrepresentation, as well as taking advantage of a young lady and her prized possession. There would be no reason whatsoever why would go to a cleaner in which I have never been to before only to be charged $499. If I knew that the charge would be $499 instead of it being an included fee in the price of my wedding dress, then I would have gone to a personal friend of mine who runs a cleaners and they would not have charged me $499.00. The only reason why I had gone to Arthur Copeland Cleaners was because I was told that it was a free cleaning service for my wedding dress. I was being told incorrect information from the wedding dress designer as well as the employee of Arthur Copeland Cleaners, and I should not be held accountable for information that was given to me, especially from an employee of Arthur Copeland Cleaners who had told me to just pay for the wedding dress cleaning now and then dispute the charge, only to cause so many issues with this dispute in the end. That is completely unethical and they should be held responsible for their employee’s deliverance of information. \r \r This whole dispute started in August. It is now March and still being disputed. After doing some research online, I came across Arthur Copeland. After meeting with Marc and learning about the cleaning and perservation process, I left COMPLETELY at ease that my dress was in good hands :) I just picked up the dress today and was greeted by Marc and his team who showed me the finished product and how to care for the dress. Needless to say, my dress looked exactly the way I picked it up the day before my wedding. I am so happy with the professionalism that Arthur Copeland carried with my precious dress. I'd recommend them 1000x to any bride. Thanks again! more

It took me months to find a cleaners who was able to take my wedding gown (which had some large crystals on the bodice) and tell me, we can clean and preserve your dress without a problem. Arthur Copeland Cleaners was the only place, within a reasonable price, that assured me they could take care of my gown without a hitch -- which is exactly what you want for the dress you got hitched in :) Marc could not have been more helpful in arranging to have my dress cleaned and preserved. Marc personally picked up and dropped off my wedding gown at my home, and very kindly gave my husband and me a cute bottle of champagne. Not only was the level of service provided by Marc and the staff at Arthur Copeland Cleaners super accommodating and very helpful, but my dress looks fantastic and like new! I highly reccomend Arthur Copeland Cleaners services. more

I bought a white cocktail dress thinking I could wear it to my rehearsal dinner for my wedding. However, I jumped the gun since we are probably not have a reheasal dinner, soooooo I figured it was a waste of a $1000 dress since its WHITE. But not the case!! Arthur Copelan Cleanser was able to dye my dress another color and now I am able to wear to a couple of weddings without stepping on the brides toes in white!!\r The gentleman who helped me, Marc, was EXTREMELY helpful and pleasant and it was so easy!!! They really know what theyre doing over there :)\r I highly recommend Arthur Copeland and can't wait to go back for another amazing experience!!! more

I have a few really good things in my wardrobe. My favorite suit was a gift from my wife; gray pinstripes from Tom Ford. When it was time to clean my suit I didn't want to just drop it off at my usual guy who takes care of my regular shirts for me. I poked around on line and found a nice website for Arthur Copeland Cleaners. Inexpensive they are not, but what a nice looking store. Not like any dry cleaner I have been to before. The woman who helped me (Esther?), was nicely dressed and very helpful. When I questioned the price to clean the suit ($27) she told me that they don't use regular dry cleaning, but clean in carbon dioxide and everything is pressed by hand. Still I was on the fence a bit, but my Tom Ford suit was expensive and I wanted it back without issues. I picked up the suit yesterday and it was very nicely done. The stain I got on the sleeve was removed and the suit looked just as good when my wife gave it to me. I would recommend Arthur Copeland highly, I felt very comfortable dropping off my Tom Ford suit and I was pleased with the cleaning. The staff was professional and put me at ease with leaving my suit for cleaning. I will be back. more

I don't live near Arthur Copeland and they are somewhat out of the way. They manager keeps suggesting delivery but I don't have anyone home during the day. I do come because when I make a mistake during dinner and get something on my tie they always get it out. My ties come back boxed and I feel like they are brand new. They do a nice job. They do ask for at least a week to clean my ties. It's not fast service, but good service. Pros: Stain removal & service Cons: A little out of my way. TIe cleaning takes time. more
