PACKAGE PRICE ROCKS!!! 7/15/2008

I read a review about this place and how their package price is very reasonable so I checked it out. Not only are their packages reasonably priced, but I went there today and they have a special anniversary price on all packages 25% off!!! This place is wonderful! As a thank you for the community support the owners hand out free water at the Green Market on Saturdays to celebrate their one year anniversary! Who does that? Can I say AWESOME!! \r \r If you frequently get massages you have to check it out. They are located in this little old house right next to Piedmont Park. Parking is limited, but after my massage I was floored so don't let that stop you. Very professional and VERY GOOD. Hurry cause I don't think special lasts very long. Pros: Great therapists Cons: Parking more

Refreshed and Relaxed! 7/2/2008

I've tried other massage therapy places in this city and The Art of Touch is by far the best massage I've ever had! Shannon (the owner) did an amazing job untangling the knots in my shoulder. She even shared with me a number of stretching exercises I could do at my desk after my massage sessions. The staff is great in addition to the relaxing atmosphere. I too agree with a previous reviewer that I too also didn't want to get up because the massage was so wonderful! Pros: Location, prices, staff more

Pregnancy massage...featrued on CNN 5/31/2008

I saw this place on a random CNN story and went to their website for additioinal information. They have a unique ""pregnancy session"" that focuses on prenatal massage. I booked a pregnancy massage and it was great! I was very impressed with how thorough they were in taking my medical history and informed me of the many benefits of massage for me and my baby. I highly recommend this place. My back pain was gone and I felt super relaxed. Check it out. Pros: Really cool art work on the walls more

best massage in atlanta 5/17/2008

I came to The Art of Touch highly recommended from one of their regular clients, and hands down agree that this is the finest studio in town. Their space is beautifully decorated, the therapists were very welcoming, and Sara really worked the knots out of my back, much more effectively than i have ever experienced from any other therapist. If your looking for the best price, quality and atmosphere The Art of Touch is the best all around deal in the city! Pros: walking distance to piedmont park. more

The best in Atlanta!! 2/18/2008

I never had a professional massage before so I was very nervous about what to expect. As soon as I met Shannon at the Art of Touch, I was immediately put to ease!!! She is so professional and comforting and all of my concerns were put to rest. Her massage was top notch! She knew exactly when to add pressure and when not to. After the massage, it took me 10 minutes to get off the table as I didn't want to leave!!! Wow! To everybody out there wondering if this place is good....well....its GREAT and don't hesitate to go in. I'm now a client for life!!! Thanks Shannon!!! Pros: Great atmosphere, Comforting, Highly skilled therapists, Only 2 blocks away from where I live. more

best massage ever 12/21/2007

It's hard to find a good therapist these days. I just moved into an apartment next to the art of touch and was very sore from all the lifting. Anne was sympathetic, intuitive, and ""present"" for the whole massage. It's been two days and I can still feel my muscles opening up. The warmth and knowledge here is something rare but beautiful. It's definitely a home away from home. Pros: open 7 days a week Cons: nothing that I can tell yet more

Amazing Massage 11/7/2007

Upon entering the house on 14th St. I was at once filled with a sense of calm. My therapist was waiting for me in the lobby and promty offered a glass of water. When I described the pain in my shoulder she immediately touched the area of concern and seeme to know exactly what was wrong. During the massage she made me feel at ease and I fell asleep. when I awoke I felt like a new me. My shoulder moved a lot better and there was much less pain. I booked an appointment for the following week! I can't wait to go back!!! Pros: Warm friendly atmosphere, knowledgeable staff, Cons: don't think I saw one more

A New Me 8/26/2007

I am retired, and this old body needed some revitalization. Being a little bashful, I've only had one massage before, but I remember it being so nice. With the morning aches and pains, I decided I could totally use some help. When I walked in, they made me feel at ease right away. In a very professional manner we discussed the different types of massages and what would work best for my body. When I left that morning I definitely felt like ""a new me."" The Art of Touch and the staff are just wonderful and I will definitely be back! Pros: Conveniently located, put me at ease, professional and knowledgable staff more

Worth every penny!! 8/20/2007

My boyfrined wanted to treat me to a special day and, The Art of Touch was the icing on the cake! The center has that great ""home"" feel. I felt like, from the minute I walked in the door, my theraipst was focused on me and what I wanted from the session. During our deep tissue couples massage, she did some kind of stretch on me for my low back and, it felt a million times better than it had after previous massages. She also showed me a few specific streches I could do on my own. Then it was nice to walk right accross the street and have a picnic for the rest of the afternoon at Piedmont Park. The next time I went, she did my first Thai massage. WOW!! Now, I switch between Thai and Deep Tissue. Pros: Effectivness! Location, Cost, Environment Cons: None so far more

The Right Touch 8/20/2007

As a first time spa visitor, I was relieved to discover how at ease the staff at Art of Touch made me feel as soon as I walked in. They patiently went through the different services they provided and together we decided what would be best for me. The massage was amazing and exactly what I was looking for. I can honestly say that they have found a lifelong customer in me! Pros: Ambience, Customer Service, Great Location, Reasonable Pricing Cons: None I can think of! more

Wonderful Wonderful Wonderful!!! 8/15/2007

I moved to Atlanta about a year ago and have been searching for the perfect massage therapist ever since. I tried out all of the big-named places but left each one completely dissatisfied. Then a friend of mine told me about The Art of Touch. He said that he had tried it out after the Peachtree Road Race and that I should go. Well I have finally found the perfect massage therapist. The owner gave me my massage. I didn't feel as if she was rushing me along, like I often feel at most spas. She seemed to really care about helping me to feel better. I am now on her calendar once a week! You want find a better massage in Atlanta! Pros: Professional Staff, Comfortable. clean setting, good price Cons: I only wish I had found this place sooner more

Best Massage in Atlanta 8/15/2007

I first went to The Art of Touch during its opening week, and I immediately felt welcome by the staff members who greeted me. I currently book an appointment there every other week to release years of built-up tension in my neck and upper back. All of the massage therapists I've seen at The Art of Touch are extremely talented and effective, the facility is just beautiful, and the appointments run on time. This is one of the most relaxing and therapeutic massage centers that I have ever been to, not just in Atlanta. I can't recommend The Art of Touch highly enough. Pros: Friendly, talented staff and therapists Cons: N/A more

Midtown Atlanta's best new attraction!!! 8/15/2007

I sit at a desk every day and have been recieving massage therapy for my lower back pain for about a year now. I stumbled upon this place walking back from the park and it was AWESOME!!! You would never know it was there, but once you are in you don't want to leave. Their location is perfect. I felt like I was in a bed & breakfast away from the city craziness. The therapists are very thorough making you feel like you are the only one on the planet. If you are in the midtown area I highly recommend stopping in for a visit!!! AWESOME!!! Pros: Very convenient for anyone in the midtown area Cons: Parking is available but tricky; but it's Midtown so where is it not tricky!! more
