Art Stone Dance & Bodywear

I arrived at Art Stone at 6:59pm and walked inthe front door only to have the girl tell me that they were closed and that they still has customers in the store so that the door was unlocked. I asked if they had size 8m beige character shoes and was told they did....I just wanted to pay for the shoes quickley and go since I had driven over from Springfield. They would not make an exception....I felt that in light of the fact that the door was still open that they could have made an exception on the side of good customer service. I understand that I was given wrong information by a friend that said they were open until 8pm and that I did arrive right as they were closing. None the less I was disappointed at their unwillingness to make a small exception. more

Art Stone in Fairfax is one of the few local dancewear shops. It is a rather small store, and they carry a decent selection of dancewear, and a fair selection of dance shoes. Their prices are at or above retail, as is normally expected in a small botique, but they do carry some lesser known brands that remain affordable. As halloween approaches, it becomes a costume shop. The small space is crowded with large costumes and decorations, and dancewear can be hard to find at that time. more
