Just like a used car salesman, they will say anything to sign you up and get your $50 app fee. Rule of thumb, dont listen the the sales people. Ask to speak with former students not working for the school. Then ask how many of their friends actually got related jobs. If they cant provide a ton of real students from your own town where they teach, RED FLAG! more

Buyer Beware! US Gov. Sues The Art Institutes for $11 Billion Fraud. The lawsuit alleges the school aggressively recruits low-income student for the purpose of collecting student aid money from the government and leaving students loaded with massive debt and with no means to pay it off. The degrees cost upwards of 70,000 in fields like art and design with low paying jobs. One example is a graduate who said degree is worthless and turned to stripper just to pay off her loan.
