On vacation to Pismo Beach. Arroyo Grande Community Hospital rates a 10+ in my book. Went to the ER after four days of experiencing excruciating back pains that could not be relieved by all the drugs in my medicine cabinet, back brace or heating pad. The ER staff were amazing, friendly and efficient. Dr. Young ordered a Cat Scan, gave me a pain shot, exam and and recommended I cut my vacation short and go to regular doctor in southern Ca. I have no comlpaints about this top notch pain. more

Worst ER I've ever seen or used 6/24/2011

For preventative complications, this ER will kill you. Wife hurt both knees in a stumble. Different time niece was hurt on bicycle/car accident. In an accident my sister-in-law hit her head in a car accident. In all cases, they never ordered x-rays. X-ray tech told wife they never process x-rays from the ER Dept. I can't say much better for the doc's in ER. “Take this pain pill and go back to your GP”. Before this hospital will do anything your GP has to order it. Try to make that a fast process! I'd give this place a ""No-Star"" rating but needs one star to post. Absolutely worthless place! more

Wonderful hospital 9/27/2010

I’m not sure about these negative reviews but I suspect they come from the moocher class. You know, those that have no insurance or some pitiful government handout. I just had my hip replaced and I could not be happier. But then again I have world class insurance that pays well and I quickly pay my deductibles. I have no complaints whatsoever more

By far the worst care I've ever seen at any hospital. The er doctors are not competent. They didn't seem to know what they were doing. No one communicates to eachother people would come in every ten mi utes and ask the same question the person before did. more
