Arnold & Sons has always arrived on time (or earlier), and their service has been excellent. They take the time to explain the problem and the work required to fix it.

Really good 7/18/2014

Arnold & Sons did a really good job. I thought they were pricey, but I had to get it done. They put a main shut-off valve in my house. The gentleman that came was timely, professional, and did what I needed him to do. I might call them back because I don't think it's shutting off 100%, but other than that, it was good. more

Management is not trustworthy 6/3/2014

The Service technician was very good and this review is not a reflection of his services. The technician verbally quoted us $170 for the call, which was about 15 minutes of work. No problem. We later received a bill for $290. We questioned the bill and it was sent to an attorney less than 30 days after receiving it. Brad said he would "take care of it", but never did and stopped taking my phone calls. He is very unprofessional and dishonest. Now we have an additional $50 to pay in attorney fees. Ridiculous. more

Scam 5/7/2014

Their website shows a sale for $99 tree root hydrojet treatment and after arriving late to my house stated the discount was for a different procedure which violates what their website states and us considered false advertisement more

Extremely Overpriced 5/7/2014

Their prices are ridiculous, just extremely overpriced. All I had done was a dryer vent hooked up and i even had the vent and they took about 5 minutes for the entire job. They charged me $189 to be precise. I will never go back to them, my advice is find someone cheaper! more

Prompt, sufficient service. No complaints with them. 12/17/2013

I had no complaints with Arnold & Sons Plumbing. We had a water heater issue, and they were able to take care of it promptly. We called them on a Sunday, and they were able to get someone out first thing on Monday morning. I like that they stand for good, fast service. This was our first experience with them, but if something else comes up, we will definitely call them again. more

Worry free! 12/16/2013

Arnold & Sons Plumbing Htg repaired two toilets and replaced several parts on our water heater. Everything has worked perfectly! It was our first time using them. I went to high school with the owner's son, so when we found ourselves in need of a plumber we gave them a call. We were very pleased, and we would recommend them. They are conscientious and efficient! more

Arnold & Sons Plumbing came out to check on us quite a bit. I appreciated that they sent a couple of guys to assist me. We had a leak in our basement and they were able to determine that it was a pipe outside that needed to repaired. They fixed it well. more

Arnold & Sons Plumbing and Heating came to do the kitchen drain. It was clogged and had standing water in the sink. He told me what he thought he was going to need to do, but ended up only having to use a wet/dry vac to suck the water out of the drain. They were wonderful. The people on the phone were wonderful, as was the person who came out. That being said, I probably can't use them again because the service was over $200. That seemed expensive for the work he did. more

Everything is hooked up and working fine. 12/9/2013

Arnold & Sons did a nice job. There are no leaks. The two plumbers were very nice and explained what they were doing. They had trouble finding the osmosis line, but we pointed it out to them and it was fine then. I appreciated them telling me that they were paid by the job done, not by the hour. I have no complaints. Everything works. more

Our neighbor recommended Arnold & Sons Plumbing Htg to us. From the beginning, we felt that they spoke to us in layman's terms about our plumbing and heating issues. They took the time to go over certain problems with us and inform us of any potential problems that we may have overlooked. Over the last couple of months, they have worked on our hot water heater, installed a check valve, replaced some pvc piping, and installed a power flush. It turned into two separate projects. Each of them were completed in a day's time. The initial contact person was the same each time, though they sent different technicians for each project. They had great communication throughout our dealings with them, and they always showed up at the time they said they would. We would recommend them to others and would definitely use them again. more

Professional plumbers who knew what they were doing. 12/3/2013

Arnold & Sons Plumbing took out my cast iron plumbing and replaced it with galvanized pipes. They ran the plumbing under my sink. I thought they were very professional, thorough, and knowledgeable about the job they did. more

Everything done in a really timely fashion 11/25/2013

We had a water heater that went out. We called Arnold & Sons Plumbing and they were able to come out the same day and repair it for us. The work was done in a really timely fashion. They also noticed some of our things were not up to date according to code so they said they could give us a quote in a couple of days, which they did. They told us to take a look at it because some things were optional. The water heater's working, we have hot water again, and they actually followed up with us afterwards to make sure everything was working. more

They asked $951 to do a job that a plumber friend of mine said it takes about 10-15 minutes to do and materials cost around $250. more

Put water shutoff valves in the wall!? 8/12/2013

Last April Arnold installed a new bath tub faucet in my rental house. They installed the shutoff valves in the wall where they couldn't be accessed after the wall was finished. They would not work with me to move the valves into the basement where they could be accessed when needed. I paid someone else $100.00 to reposition the valves. The management was very rude and uncooperative. I have posted my complaint through BBB on their Facebook page. They post these supposed good reviews on Facebook but this one is for real. RESPONSE FROM Arnold & Sons Plumbing Htg: Mr. Stork We are extremely displeased by any negative review at Arnold & Sons, we pride ourselves on happy customers. Reviews help guide potential customers to our business. We would like to clear the air with you. The shutoff valves were placed in the wall because the two elderly women living in the house could not go without water for a prolonged period of time. The shutoff valves become negligible once the wall is repaired, but aren't needed because there are other water shutoffs to the house. We installed the shut off valves in the wall out of pure convenience for the occupants in the home. Since you were not on site during the installation, we had to make a judgement call. Poor pricing and professionalism 7/1/2013

Arnold and Sons Plumbing Heating was used for replacing the water main valve in the house and for replacing a pipe for a sink. Their prices are extroardinarily high for this area and they charge a flat fee for coming so I used them while they were there. I used someone else for the rest of my house work and the other company was 1/3 of the cost. Arnold and Sons wanted to replace everything and put holes in the walls rather than suggesting solutions to fix the problem (ie repair the pipes). The manager never said "hi" or introduced himself to me when he entered my house which I found to be very unprofessional. more

Piping and sink installation 6/26/2013

Arnold and Sons Plumbing came to fix some piping for me and to set up a pedestal sink. There was a piping problem that needed to be fixed for 800 dollars, because it ended up being a major problem, but I believe the work did need to be done. They had to come back once to fix a mistake but they did so quickly. more
