Impound Release Requirements

* To Pick up your police impounded vehicle you must meet the following requirements:

No Checks or Credit Cards accepted for Police impounds!

Proof of Ownership: consists of a title or registration on your name. Impounded vehicles are released to the registered owner only. Photo ID is required. If you are not the registered owner, you must obtain a notarized letter from the registered owner authorizing you to pick up their vehicle (full vehicle description required). This letter must be stamped, signed and dated by the notary as well as signed and dated by the registered owner. $3.00 per page will be charged for received/sent faxes.

Proof of current Insurance: consists of an insurance card listing the impounded vehicle by year,make,midle and v.i.n #. It must also have your insurance policy number and current effective and expiration dates. If you have current insurance and do not have an insurance card, you may call you insurance agent and have them fax a copy of you insurance card. A fee of $3.00 per page will be charges for received/sent faxes.

Valid Driver's License: your driver's license will be verified with the local police department to insure you are valid to drive the vehicle.
