Armani's dazzles many people with the view, which is impressive for Tampa, but the food falls short of Donatello and Caffe' Paradiso, as does the service and ambience. The antipasta bar, while it seems awesome, lacks quality items. The calamari were VERY tough on 3 occasions. The salads were decent, not the best. Entrees and pastas were decent, though not the best. The service is decent, but part of a fine Italian restaurant is being served by staff that know, understand, and appreciate the Italian language, culture, and cuisine. Here, many can't pronounce, let alone describe an item or properly guide a customer. It's gussied up hotel fare with a great view. For a genuine experience, try the D or CP.
Pros: Nice view of the bay
Cons: Not authentic Italian, Pricey hotel fare, better elsewhere
