We went Armondos, and the food was very good. I would highly recommend the Chicken Armondo. It is to die for. Also the wait staff was nice and helpful. The drinks were well made. It is a lovely little surprise in Renton!! more

Even good takeout 11/30/2007

I went with my co-workers a while back and thought the food was great! The chicken was tender, the pasta wasn't overcooked, and even the salad was tasty (great dressing, too). I even ordered the salmon to take home to my husband and HE thought it was great...and he's picky when it comes to seafood. The previous reviewer obviously did not read their menu, though. Caesar salads MAY be substituted, but it DOES state on the menu that there is an additional charge. My solution? If in doubt, ask. Pros: Decent service, good food Cons: Parking more

What Service!!! Don't get the salad!!! There's hidden fees 11/7/2007

The Service was slow. I ordered the lunch special and was asked which I would rather have Soup or salad and I said What the choices are and they told me all the choices. So I picked Ceasar and they charged me extra at the end. I complained about it and they would not take it off my bill. Soup or Salad comes with the lunch !!! I think they forgot their own menu. I will never return there more

Customer service with a twist 10/18/2006

Ate there for the first time and wasn't impressed with the customer service or meal. The wait staff was friendly but our main waitress never returned to the table once the main course was served. The meal was OK at best but overpriced for what we were served. When did spaghetti and meatballs start costing $15? more

Excellent! Much improved. Armondo's has a new menu and it's great! Different dishes that our family and friends really enjoyed. A bit pricey on some, and a bit small on the pasta dishes, but otherwise, the taste has improved. The before meal free bread is new and much, much better. The bread has herbs, olive oil, and a fantastic taste to it. Loved it. Visit this restaurant soon. I believe its popularity is returning. Cons: Bread before dinner; service; bar offerings more

Over priced under cooked 7/17/2006

Some times places that look bad are good and some times places that look intresting are horrid. I had a chicken dish were the chicken was both rubbery and tasteless not to mention the 4.50 salad. The garlic and oil is not bad, but the bread is day old at best Other then that it was ok more

Terrific! 4/3/2006

We went to Armondo's for the first time, it's moved around the corner from its old spot. I love the ambience - it's very stylish and pretty. The food was really good, I had a calzone and husband had the salmon fettuccini. Service was great, the hostess was very nice and friendly and our waitress was also friendly and knowledgeable. It was really crowded, we sat in the bar while we waited for a table. But once we got seated, service was very prompt. Pros: Service, Food, Ambience Cons: Crowded more

  • Armondo's has changed a lot since its humble beginning as a pizza and 'red sauce' Italian restaurant in 1985. We have transformed into a contemporary Italian restaurant committed to excellence in both food and hospitality. While we have changed our dining philosophy, our desire to provide a warm and friendly experience remains unchanged. We take great pride in serving local sustainably grown and harvested produce, meats and seafood at Armondos.
