Armadillo Bar & Grill

I went here with my family tonight, and I do have to say this was THE best Mexican restaurant I have ever been to. I highly recommend anyone in the area to give this place a shot. Our waitress was HIGHLY attentive. Our food came out right as we finished out appetizers, which I love. Also the atmosphere was perfect. If you like Mexican food, I highly recommend this place! more

My wife and I ate at the Armadillo once a week for about 10 years . We never had a bad experience. The food was always great . The chips and dip were tops and the Margaritas were the best ..The service was always very good and the owner,was even better. more

Not even excellent food can make up for the terrible service at this place. I have been here a few times, but each time the service is getting worse and worse. I will not return anymore because they just don't care about their customers more

My friend George said that he knew of a great burger joint way out in Kingston, NY. That's a solid 90 minute ride from my house but since I was going to be in the vicinity, we made a date and trekked over. It's on a side street in Kingston and is in a pretty unassuming building. Little to warn you of what's ahead for your taste buds. We each ordered a cheese burger and fries with a coke. No creativity needed on our part, just an appetite. Shortly, we were presented with a classic, thick, fresh ground beef burger cooked to order. Juicy, tasty, hot, good bread - a great burger. Maybe the best burger I have ever had. The fries were "ordinary" - neither great nor awful - but compared to the burger, it did pale. Find yourself in town, make a bee line for Armadillo and get the best burger around.. more
