What an amazing vet. The only thing that would make it better was if that girl with the short brown hair still worked there. Seeing a sibling there would make the experience all the more enjoyable. more

Upon moving to Arlington, my family and I needed a vet locally for our English Springer Spaniels. After trying out the other vet in town, we came upon Arlington Pet Hospital and couldn't have been more happy. The staff did a wonderful job of making us feel right at home. The groomer did a great job with two difficult puppies to cut and we never took them anywhere else. Last year, unfortunately we lost both of our dogs in a short time and the staff was kind and compassionate. Since losing our dogs, I've moved to another city but I always call Dr. Davis first if I have any questions about my new dog's health. I've yet to find another vet that compares to the quality I received here and I'll always be indebted to these people for the utmost care they always bestowed upon my family. P.S. I am the girl with the short brown hair and working there was one of the greatest privileges I could have ever received. more

I normally don't write reviews but after seeing the previous negative review by someone who is obviously a very sad & hateful person, I felt obligated to write. \r Dr. Davis is fantastic vet; very experienced and knowledgable of the latest medicines and techniques in vet care. When we moved to Arlington he was the first professional I met here and I was impressed instantly. In speaking with other clients, I know he is very compassionate & a great listener, even to those 'new moms' with silly worries about their 'babies.' I have a dog whom he takes great care of, and I even found a new kitten thanks to his super friendly and animal-loving staff. Yes, the staff may be young, but I am excited to see young people so passionate about learning the trade. I have experienced nothing but total professionalism and caring at Arlington Pet Hospital and I highly recommend it to anyone! more

Oh my goodness. Who ever wrote that awful review should be embrassed. I have been going to Dr. Davis and his staff for years. They are the most wonderful people that I have ever used. They call and check on my puppy everytime I have been in ther. Plus they send you a card with all your pets history on it. You also know when it is time for the next visit. The staff has always been great. For someone to write about a person apperance is pitiful. Must be a person with there feeling on there shoulders are just a unhappy person. The world is a tough place better be nice. Dr. Davis is a great vet and really care about your pet .We have labs and one a Yorkkee. He is wondderful with each one of them one of our labs is 14 years young and he takes such special care of her. If money is the problem the don't have any pets because they are not free. more

This is one of the finest animal care facilities I have been acquainted with. We have used it for over four years (as long as we have lived in the area). \r \r We have yet to find anyone working there who is not friendly and professional. They welcome us and our dogs like old friends.\r \r Dr. Davis has a great love for all of the pets. And concern for the owners, too. When we had the unfortunate experience of losing a dog to illness, he did all he could to help us through it, even sending a beautiful hand-written note expressing his grief and sorrow. We still keep it posted on our refrigerator.\r \r He also has been very concerned and helpful as we have had an older dog going through heartworm treatments (not the prevention of them) and have had many questions. We have full confidence in him.\r \r We never have had a question as to whether we should continue to use their services and would readily recommend them to any and all. more

I have to agree with the review on 3/29/11. I highly recommend Arlington Pet Hospital and Dr. Davis! Throughout the years I have had many veterinarians for my animals, but I have to say that Dr. Davis is the best. The clinic is always super clean and does not smell like animals. Dr. Davis and his staff are very professional and have answered my numerous questions patiently. I like how they mail/email informative newsletters, reminders of vaccines for each of my pets, and they obviously care about each of our two dogs. The receptionists are always friendly and greet me, my family, and dogs by name. They are very knowledgable about certain products, sharing with customers the pros and cons, along with Dr. Davis' opinions if the need arises. I have always received good services for the prices I have paid. I have also called on weekends for doggy emergencies and Dr. Davis has always responded immediately, with care, concern, and advice. He even called me the next day to find out how my dog was faring after the emergency treatment. We can tell that our dogs never mind going to the vet when needed. I have never hesitated nor dreaded taking my dogs to Dr. Davis and trust him and his staff completely with the care of my pets. more

This is without doubt the best clinic we've ever visited. Some years ago we were going elsewhere and received very bad care. The doctor even said that there was nothing else he could do for our dog. We called a friend and asked for a recommendation of a new doctor. Arlington Pet Hospital was it, thankfully. Dr. Davis was wonderful and immediately diagnosed our dog's problems and prescribed the meds needed. That was about 4 years ago, and our dog has had no more problems. As for the rest of the staff, they're always helpful and professional, and we and our dog love visiting with them. They're all simply the best. more

It sounds like Girl24 has had a bad experience with the employees of this facility and not necessarily the vet, Dr. Davis. My 2 Boxers have been going here for almost 3 years, and each time they have received nothing but the best care. I have even boarded them here once or twice with no problems. And, believe me, they are a handful!!\r \r Dr. Davis makes himself available to patients on weekends when the office is closed. You can call his cell phone and leave a message and he will call you back. He has ALWAYS called me back and been very patient with me. When I was a new dog owner, I would call a lot because one of my dogs, Ozzy, would break out in hives (it always seemed to be on a weekend when the vet was closed) and Dr. Davis would tell me what to do. Now I know how to handle it without having to call him, but the fact that he would call me on a Saturday or Sunday was very appreciated (no charge)!! His office has always been very accomodating and I don't think any of them are unprofessional or under-trained.\r \r I would absolutely recommend this vet to anyone in the area. I think the prices are very reasonable and competitive. I will continue to take my dogs there as they are used to seeing Dr. Davis and the staff and seem to enjoy it when they are there (with the exception of a little anxiety any pet has going to the vet).\r \r more

Dr. Davis is a good vet. He does care about those special owners ( the ones that like to spend $$$ ) On the website it claims that he works at Pet Med Emergency in Cordova (afterhours)...He doesn't. His staff consist of teenagers and young 20 somethings that could care less about doing their job and a receptionist that is on the verge of a nervous break down at any moment. The quality of staff could be better if he would pay alittle more for more experienced techs. Most of them have little to no experience when they start. I don't know if I feel comfortable with kids like that taking care of my animals ( drawing blood samples etc)The groomer experience was great other than the fact that she has butchered the groom, If I'm paying those outrageous prices, I want a professional. The other vet he has in his practice, lets just say she wouldn't touch my animal. She will not treat an animal if its something that is too hard for her. Oh and the ""dude"" with short brown hair, that's really a girl. more
