I have been looking for a caring and knowledgeable dentist for years. I wish I have found Dr.Mechev earlier and saved tons of money and pain from bad dental work that was done from others. Besides being extremely professional, he is very patient and kind and will sit with you and explain in details what is going on and what all the options are. And having the robot that makes the crowns in a minute is so awesome, in one visit you get your crown placed and that's it!!! Only a few dentists are trained and have that new equipment and I am impressed that Dr.Mechev is one of them!!! Not to forget - his staff is great as well, always pleasant and accommodating. Thank you all for the extremely high level of professionalism and patients’ care you offer!!! more

I have been looking for the right dentist for so long that I thought I will never find him, but I did – Dr. Cvetan Mechev at Arlington Heights Dental. He will listen to what you say, he will work with you and find the best and the most convenient way to solve your problem. The office is clean and modern, everyone is very friendly and attentive. The staff is very kind and professional, the equipment is top of the line. I wish I met Dr. Mechev earlier, that would’ve saved me so much pain and money. I highly recommend him. It is not that easy to find a good dentist nowadays. 5 stars!!! more

Modern, Good technology, Sweet staff, Thorough I HATE DENTISTS, Went for the 1st time today. The place looks fabulous, everyone was friendly, personable, and worried about my comfort. The actual dentist took the time to go to a consultation room with me after the exam and explain everything to me, show me costs,what insurance will pick up, payment plans, let me ask questions, and then gave me print outs of everything so I could think it over. I will be making this my actual dentist from now on more

This is your new dentist!! Dr. Mechev has state of the art equipment, progressive dentistry skills, and a soothing office environment to provide you the best dental visit possible. As the first person to admit that the dentist is the last appointment I'm excited about, Dr. Mechev has changed my opinion. Dr. Mechev is an absolutely wonderful dentist. I've been a patient of his for over a year now and there's no other dentist that compares to him. I have had fillings done by him, my wisdom teeth removed and biannual cleanings and I am 100% satisfied with him. He cares so much about his patients and their health. My previous dentist just did his job and never asked how I was doing along the way while he was working on my teeth. Dr. Mechev is the best in his field because he has mastered his profession and performs it with meticulous care. Furthermore, throughout today's visit he asked, ""Are you O.K.;"" ""Are you a little sensitive to that...."" In short, he made me feel like he cared about me as an individual patient. It wasn't that I felt pain. It was that I was afraid of what he was thinking about the condition of my teeth, since the last time I was in a dentist's office had to be over a decade ago. I was thinking, man have I blown this one, that is, such a simple thing like taking care of myself by going to the dentist at least once every 6 months like I know should have. While I was beating myself up mentally, Dr. Mechev was hard at work. He gave me an exam and then took x-rays. He explained to me what he was seeing as he displayed my x-rays on a flat screen monitor. Then he took photos and displayed them next. When I saw the inner surface of my teeth and how brown they were on that side, I was shocked. I was like, I would have come in sooner if I had seen this in my mirror at home. I say this because I eat well balanced meals consistently; exercise almost daily; sleep at least 8 hours each night; and see my primary care medical doctor regularly for check-ups. I don't play around when it comes to my health. Yet, when it came to my teeth..., well let's say today has begun a new chapter in really taking good care of myself. Next, Dr. Mechev got to work cleaning and polishing my teeth and then he explained to me what the next steps would be for follow-up visits to deal with my chipped teeth and a cavity. When I looked at my teeth when he was done today, I was amazed. All that brown stuff was gone and my teeth were looking sweet again. I couldn't wait to start showing them off. And when Dr. Mechev finishes the other procedures, I know I'm gonna be in tears because I have found a doc-tor who knows what he's doing and is the best at what he does. Plus he is very aware of how sensitive I am as a person. I left his office today a much happier person. Not only did Dr. Mechev solve some of my problems with my teeth today and made a solid plan to solve the others in future visits, but also, he inspired me by the way he calmly took care of me. Now, I feel like I really have a chance with his help to have no problems with my teeth. I'm sincerely excited about my next office visit with Dr. Mechev. That may sound weird. Dr. Mechev is the most thorough dentist that I have ever visited. He spent considerable time examining my teeth and sharing his findings. I felt great leaving his office with the knowledge of what is going on with each and every tooth. I have a plan to make sure my mouth stays healthy. \r \r I was also very impressed with how advanced his office technology was and with his knowledge of the latest treatments. I have been seeing dentists for the past 15 years to repair damage done by bad dentists long time ago. Many dentists I have seen here would refuse my case because it was ""too complicated"". Many would just charge me lots of money and just temporarily address the symptoms. Since I have found Dr.Mechev, things have change. He is the most amazing, kind, patient, smart, educated person and professional I have met!!!. His office is extremely clean, his staff very nice. I am so happy I found a dentist who is not only a great professional but has such a pleasant personality that it makes the dental experience comfortable and positive one. Also what matters to me is how he spends time to make sure his patients understand what is going on, what their treatment options are and so on and so on. I had an excellent experience in Dr. Mechev's dental office. \r I went there for a regular exam and cleaning and for teeth whitening. Being a doctor myself, I am very critical and with high expectations. However, I must admit his practice is state of the art. His office is very clean, nicely furnished and comfortable and it feels as being in a spa, not in a dental office. The staff is friendly and very efficient. The doctor is very nice and carying, knowledgeable, experienced and precise. He is applying the latest technologies and knowledge in his work. \r Yet, Dr. Mechev is taking the extra step to educate the patient, while doing his work and I have learned important things about the teeth and oral hygiene during my visit. When you walk into the very modern dental office of Arlington Heights Dental, where the cordial smile of Dr Mechev greets you, you enter a world most associated with a spa experience - from the soothing music, to the mirror waterfalls, to the amazing HD TV sets playing tropical underwater scenes - you forget you went to the dentist. Most people associate the dentist with pain, but in this place, pain just does not exist. Dr. Mechev is proficient in putting the anesthetic, so there is actually no pain during the procedure ( I had today root canal, and many people associate it with a lot of pain, but it is not at all the case here) - you just enjoy the healing music in an amazing leather super comfortable chair. He shows you the process of what he is doing during the treatment on the big TV sets. He takes X-rays for 7 seconds that show on the big screen and you see the progress. He uses very precise electronic equipment - I have not seen anything like it in other dental offices. He is very thorough in anything that he does. If I have to characterize Dr Mechev with a few words they would probably be expert, precision and care. This is a one stop place for all your dental needs ! Highly recommended ! more
