We had our wedding reception at Arlington Banquet Center. They provided full catering services for this occasion and the food was awesome. All of our guests were so impressed and pleased that we are still getting phone calls and emails from most of them telling how amazing the venue was. It is my fondest wish that for operating loudspeakers in a residential neighborhood until 2:30 in the morning at decibel levels exceeding those created by jet airliners at 20 feet the good people of Arlington Billiard & Cafe suffer untold torment in this life, as well as in the next, if there is one. If the Cafe feels this sentiment is uncharitable, they should consider it unavoidable as they have turned a deaf ear to their neighbors' pleas for relief from the abuse we have endured so many years. Friends of ours were meeting at arlington on this past saturday nite, me and my girlfriends go out every saturday nite and have been in Columbus for several years now. we have never gone to Arlington before and were warned about the regular crowd and ""service with attitude"". after waiting in line and experiencing airport type security we were alittle unsatisfied to after finally getting inside being treated like meat by drunk wana be gangsters and unprofessional looking doormen. we made it to a uncrowded bar in the back where our cute bartender made us feel like regulars and greeted us with a smile. i think his name was justin, with curly hair. he remembered us and what we were drinking every time we went back to the bar, even when he was busy with many other ppl. ... over all the night could of been better and if it were not for ONE decent server we would never plan on coming back... i would recommend this place to friends to check` out something different. i will be back again to see Justin <3 Pros: friendly service Cons: over priced, and gh*tto more

the $5 cover on thursdays is a horrible idea. your doorman turned my girlfriend and i away after refusing to waive this ridiculous charge. we simply wanted to have dinner on a thursday evening. unless you're really looking to turn away the business of hungry attractive affluent neighborhood couples, i'd suggest you review your policies. we merrily spent $70 at a different establishment that evening... way to reach over that dollar to pick up the penny, AC. So, I was invited to come to with a friend to a party at some banquet hall(open bar, how could I refuse?) and discovered these two bars; Arlington Cafe & Cazzies. Two seperate bars under one roof, each with a unique scene. Probably over 100 TV's in every part of the house, even the bathrooms! Internet jukebox and two DJ's who took our requests! The kitchen is open late every nite, and everything we got was great! The staff was friendly and quick to get us our orders. Plenty of parking and the neighborhood is safe. I must say that something I notice is cleanliness, and this place is clean! Overall, a fun safe place to hang out and enjoy whatever is going on! more

Arlington is the place to be! The staff is attractive and very friendly. They'll get you going with some interesting shots and set you up on a pool table. If that doesn't do it for you there are dance floors. On the weekends there is a d.j. who WILL take requests. There is NO cover on the weekends (I don't know what the previous review was talking about). If you're a smoker, like me, you can hang out on the patios. OR go check out karaoke on Mondays, it's always good for a laugh. Pros: The overall atmosphere make it easy to meet new people. I walked into Arlington Cafe to be greeted by Dolphins. What do Dolphins have to do with sports bar/night club! The big screens are gone and big bright neons cover the walls. There is a cover charge on Friday and Saturday. WHY there is nobody there anymore. Drinks cost way to much and the staff does not want to be there. If you really want to stay on that side on town UA Pub, Pockets, Polos or DUB PUB are the places to go more

Went last week and the place was packed with the hottest Columbus has to offer. Saw/Met Demetrius Stanley (Former OSU football player) Heard they are starting a Country/Line Dancing Night on Sundays, now if you bomb with a member of the opposite sex you can drown your sorrows to a country song. Last Tuesday I went out on the dance floor and I could'nt believe my eyes. UA CAFE? This was something I never thought I would see, because its more like a ""sports bar / singles bar"". Just being on the dance floor felt like I just jumped from a sports bar straight to a Las Vegas Nightclub. The lights and sound where awsome. They put nice mirrors and got rid of the shady lights they were getting by with, and replaced every thing including literaly raising the roof. This just give UA Cafe another reason for more people to check it out, and its already slamed packed. Great decision UA Cafe thanks for not letting the place get run down. Arlington Cafe is great because they have everything you could ask for. There is two big bars, about 12 pool tables, dartboards, videogames, a dance floor, amazing food, a very friendly staff, and tons of attractive customers. If you can't find a way to have fun at this bar, you probably won't have fun at any bar. more

Arlington B&C is a great pickup joint. Forget the food, ambience, etc. It's where lots of young COlumbus singles go to get down a little and meet some sexy specimins of the opposite gender. That's enough to make anyone want to go! Pros: busy, fun, active Cons: smokey more

Just got back, it was packed. 2.50 pounders and a sweet lookin crowd. This night is worth checking out. Pros: Great Food, Good Specials, Great Music Cons: a little too packed, parking was ok more
