Arkansas Alligator Farm

I have been going to the Alligator Farm since I was 6 years old. My grandmother took me the first time and was so amazing as a child. I loved looking at all the weird looking animals, alligators, lizards, and turtles. I always got a gift from the gift shop and still have these small trinkets today. I take my grandchildren when they visit me in Hot Springs and it's great to watch them say "WoW" and the kids talk about the Alligator's for weeks and what a great time they had. If you are visiting Hot Springs, be sure to go to the Alligator Farm, both young and old will enjoy the experience. more

Hundreds of alligators! you wouldn't think that there could be so many in one spot. Kids love it, parents are amazed by it, and guess what?! That's not the only thing there. There are goats and deer to feed and pet and a feeding show if you plan ahead. plenty to do for the money and a great gift shop to buy a gift for the kiddos to play with on the ride home. more

From the baby lizards to full grown adults this zoo has at least 200 alligators. We were absolutely amazed to see the vast amount of alligators from various shapes and sizes. The kids love to see these gators move about the zoo and the parents are fascinated. They are well fenced off from visitors and safety is a good concern from the employees. The zoo also features a number of animals such as goats and deer you can pet and feed. The zoo located not to far from downtown so it's an easy drive to get there. I would plan ahead when going. Feedings are not everyday but are posted so plan your trip around those if you can. The zoo is small but there is a good bit to do for a decent price. There's also a nice gift shop if you want to bring home some souvenirs. more
