This restaurant is a local gem for family food. The restaurant was delightfully decorated for Christmas when we visited, and I understand they lavishly decorate for all the major Holidays. more

I don't like to give out 5 stars unless a restaurant hits the top on all areas; cleanliness, quality, service, and price. The Arizona Family Restaurant gets top scores by both my girlfriend and I in all areas. We were impressed by the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant as soon as we walked in the door. We were immediately greeted and taken to a table. We decided to try the turkey dinners and joked about having thanksgiving in August. Our dinners included dressing, cranberry sauce, and two sides; and warn fresh rolls. From the turkey and gravy to the green beans and mashed potatoes, every part of the meal was excellent. We kept looking at each other and asking ""is your food as good as mine""...yeah we talk like that. Our service by our waitress couldn't have been any better before, during and after the meal. There was no room left over for desert. The Sunday ""special"" price appeared to be about the same as the menu price. For less than $30 (not including tip) we both had very filling ""Thanksgiving in August"" meals. 100% recommended across all categories! more

This old and well known restaurant in Green Valley, Arizona is always consistent and always good. Clean and good service, with a good selection of entries. You cant go wrong here. The bar, known as the ""Easy Street Lounge"" is a fun place with great bar snacks and good drinks. Try it during Happy Hour for half-price. I eat at this restaurant frequently, and always have a good experience in both the restaurant and the bar. more

The Arizona Family Restaurant in Green Valley, AZ is located easily from Interstate 19 at the Esperanza Exit, making it an ideal stop for weary travelors, get togethers, and business lunches.\r The restaurant offers a variety of eating areas, particularly the Bar. On Friday and Saturday nights there is usually live music, which promotes a lively atmosphere!\r The real ""draw"" is the Prime Rib Special. Generous and cooked to perfection, it's is a real crowd pleaser.\r If it's lunch you're interested in, try the Cobb Salad....and of course, there is ""no bad breakfast!""\r A gem of an eatery, well worth trying. more

We have a group that meets in the bar for happy hour several times per month. Drinks are discounted and selected appetizers are half price. Have got somewhat tired of the same selection so have switched to their dynamite patty melt or their good chicken fried steak. Well worth a visit. more

first visit was with a jaded eye as the nearby restaurant at the CC was closed. I have to tell you I thought I was in for a generic Denny's. I was WRONG! This place was excellent! The breakfasts were great, the salads huge, Prime Rib the bomb! The wife & I go back often more

Surprisingly good food where you don't expect to find it. My buddy had the 15 ounce ribeye and said it was one of the best ever. I had spaghetti with meatballs and it was also excellent. The place is comfortable, clean and attractive. I'll go back. more

We often go here when it's late (like after 8..) for a casual, good supper and a cocktail. The food is good; stick to the simpler fare and you won't go wrong. Service is prompt and polite. Love the fries and burgers, and the sandwiches, chicken fried steak are all good too, as well as the breakfasts that are served all day. They are more than willing to improvise as well, if you want to substitute. Nice place. No surprises. more

used to think this place had institutional type food tried it for breakfast wife had pecan pancakes full of nuts and she could only finish 1/2 so she took home half. I had corned beef hash with two perfeclty cooked poached eggs and a buttered English muffin. 1/2 the plate was covered with the hash and the whole combination was wonderful. would now recommed anytime. more

The room inside is a surprise from the outside. This could have been a Denny's style restaurant when looking from the outside. Inside, the decor is more comfortable and warm. There are a number of side rooms and a section with the bar being expanded. Great full day menu. I had a Grilled Reuben and it was very good. Somewhat limited on the side choices without upcharge was my only complaint. more

Right off I-19 in Green Valley, this a good place to stop and have a bite to eat, whether it be breakfast or lunch or dinner. They have a varied menu, and good portions at a reasonable cost. Staff is friendly, and the place is quite clean and inviting. more
