Broad wine selection, oh yea and kind, knowledgable folks. 6/16/2012

No snobs here. Who can resist wine tasting, for free, AND friendly wine advice. These guys always have 6 or 7 wines open on Saturdays. Plus they help me find great wines for the dinners with friends that I have planned. There is a good reason they have been around since 1997 - great selections, knowledgeable assistance, and easy going attitude. They find wines that other stores have been too busy to track down for me. Special orders seem to be something they do all the time, with great results. Pros: tons of free parking on street. Good hours, open 7 days. Stayed late when I showed up at 5 minutes to closing. more

Best Wine Shop in town 10/10/2010

Great wines, friendly and helpful service 9/20/2010

I have had the good pleasure to shop at Artista on several occasions and want to encourage everyone, from neophyte to expert, to visit this comfortable store. They have a solid selection of local, domestic and import wines, very reasonable prices and the patience to help you decide what to buy. And I know that the owners are active, supportive community members, which makes it an even better experience. Edmonds is fortunate to have such a spot. more

Snooty Cellar that dismisses on age 7/25/2010

My wife and I went to Arista expecting to enjoy some wines and pick up a few bottles for our home collection. We are quite young (25) for wine enthusiasts but the owner dismissed us like some kids off the street. We were initially ignored when we entered the shop, then when we asked a few questions the answers were short and didn't elaborate. We went in on a Saturday and the distributor giving tastings was very friendly. The other patrons in the store however were much more welcomed by the owner. We will likely not return and will not give them any more business. Pros: Extensive Tools, Nice distributors Cons: Must be 30+ to be treated fairly more

Wine Novice? Don't worry Arista Wine Cellars will steer you the right way. 10/14/2006

I love good wines but I don't know much about them and going into some wine stores I get a little intimidated because of a kind of snob attitude. Not at Arista's, they ask questions and they help guide me to the perfect wine everytime. I thought I was a cabernet fan but David Arista showed my that I was an Australian Shiraz fan!! The Arista crew has also turned me on to a bunch wines I had never even heard of. I have become the envy of my friends (we do blind wine tastings) because I always show up with the ""wow!"" wines. My wines always win at the blind tastings or rather the wines that David picked out for me. I am local so I stop in for their Saturday wine tastings (free) and again I always find new wines at those events too. I used to pick wines by the label (dumb, I know) but now I have the crew at Arista's steer me and they nail it everytime. Arista Wine Cellars and C'est la vie are right next to each other so my wife and I always stop in after buyng flowers at the farmer's market every Saturday during the summer. RM Pros: great service, great staff, great wines more
